Being a truck driver for the last 37 years, I have listened to many of them, especially on the radio. I liked Brother Stair out of Walterboro SC, then there was Brother Campy, T.D. Jakes, and there was another guy with a gravelly voice whose name I just cannot remember, but he was always clear and concise when going through the Scriptures and I especially liked it when he explained the Old Testament. On TV there was Herbert W. Armstrong, Billy Graham and Reverend Ike was extremely entertaining, and there are others. God has many people working for Him and they all have something that they share in their own particular ways.

Charles Stanley, Ravi Zacharias, our pastor, David Teis, his son Joshua Teis (pastor of Southern Hills Baptist Church). I normally only listen in the car, so those are the only ones I've caught. They would all be conservative Baptist preachers, as we are an IFB church.

Yes. I listen to Christian radio when I am in the car. I used to listen to J. Vernon McGee regularly (non-denominational with a Presbyterian background, I think), but now he is not usually on at the time I am in the car, though I randomly run across him. Others that I listen to on a somewhat regular basis are Steve Brown and Ravi Zacharias. I hear Tony Evans, Alistair Begg, Charles Stanley and Chuck Swindoll from time to time (Stanley is Southern Baptist). There is one who is on at a time I could listen, but deliberately avoid -- .Joyce Meyer.

Doesn't IFB stand for "I fight believers?"

I have a former classmate who is the Pastor of 1st Reformed (I think that's the one)out in LV. He was a phenomenal basketball player.

I rarely have a chance to listen to radio, but I sometimes go to the White Horse Inn on the internet, or listen to Alistair Begg or John Piper.
I also enjoy listening to Tony Evans. He preached the best sermon on racism, right after a brother was shot down here in MN, from the passage about the woman at the well. That sermon is definitely worth listening to.

Sure, I do. In fact, I seldom listen to Baptist preachers because the ones on the radio don't seem to have much to offer. I listen to bits of Word of Faith preachers just to know what they're spewing.

I have no idea if IFB stands for "I fight believers". I personally don't fight much...argue yes, fight, no. I like Tony Evans and his daughter Priscilla Shirer. But, like I said, I only listen in the car and these days I'm not in the car much. I got sideswiped just over a week ago and got pretty banged up. I'm also in the middle of changing jobs and we're moving. So, if I'm home, I'm usually listening to past sermons from our pastor or my goofy spotify playlists.

Our church is pretty much not into fighting, we're into loving. Lots of community outreach stuff goes on, pretty much monthly.

The WOF teachers are pretty much as a lot those whom paul would label as teaching doctrines of demons!

I was joking. Way back there used to be satirical acronyms for various church denominations. The IFCA meant "I Fight Christians Anywhere." The GARB meant "Grand Army of Rebellious Baptists." BGC = Baptists Going Casual. NAB = Not Actually Baptist. All in good fun.

IF I run across a WOF preacher on the radio...I usually end up yelling at the radio. That's why after awhile I end up switching to my classic rock station...then I don't get bent out of shape.

Same here. That's why all of the preachers I listen to, I get through iTunes. That way, I can vet the preachers.

Good plan when eating grapes. Not so much when judging doctrine.
