This sounds like the way KJVO-only folks quote their sources.

Memories of Flight 93 crash still fresh at 5-year anniversary

"But troopers soon began finding small but identifiable pieces of a commercial aircraft and bits of the United Airlines in-flight magazine. They quickly realized there would be no survivors.
Rick King, 42, of Shanksville, was behind the wheel of the first firetruck to arrive at the crash scene, showing up before the state police, FBI and other federal investigators.
The former assistant chief of the Shanksville volunteer fire department had heard Flight 93 scream overhead, seen a massive fireball light up the sky and felt an explosion rock the entire town of Shanksville."

"'It didn't look like a plane crash,' says Maj. Monaco, 56, from New Kensington.
The plane had burrowed into the soft, reclaimed earth of the former strip mine and crumpled like an accordion, he says."

"Veteran FBI agent Michael Soohy had been to airplane crash scenes before, and he thought he knew what to expect: chaos, bodies, a hulking wreck of a jet.
'I don't think anyone expected to see what they didn't see,' said the 50-year-old who grew up near Johnstown. 'It's almost like a dart hitting a pile of flour. ... The plane went in, and the stuff back-filled right over it.'"

I'm still far from convinced there was a 9/11 conspiracy apart from a Jihadist dream.

To start (apart from the back and forth debate concerning the actual data) - the most compelling argument against it is the fact that has already been mentioned - the scope of the throng of people required to pull off all the details of the plot claimed by the conspiracy believers precludes the possibility of a conspiracy with no "whistle-blowers".

BTW the thought crossed my mind that the conspiracy theorists have already started on the WHY TRUMP WON THE ELECTION conspiracy.

Mrs Hillary Clinton initiating several of her own (Russians, Wiki leaks, Macedonians, Fake News, Jim Comey...)

I imagine that the conscience of some will haunt them enough to come forward soon.

But you know what the Bible says about those with a seared conscience.

And I expect some deathbed confessions.

Only a few would know the full conspiracy - there were so many facets. Killing a few hundred passengers is minor compared with a few thousand in the towers, & totally insignificant compared with the consequent mass slaughter of Arabs - every one a potential terrorist. Pity about the US & UK military victims, heroes in the "war against terror."

Some of those death bed confessions may come too late - there have been "suicides" reported. Perhaps of those involved who might be "unreliable."

This conspiracy theorist is very sceptical about the whole US political system. Try this crossword clue:
Politician guilty of TREASON.

The earth just gobbled it right up and then the earth magically covered up the hole.

If you swallow that tale --you'll swallow anything.
You did do just a little research, didn't you? The area used to be a pit mine. It was back filled so the soil was very light and not compacted.

The plane impacted at over 560 mph at a 40 degree nose down attitude. It left a crater over 50 feet in diameter.

What did you expect it to do? Bounce off the sod?:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Forget it. You're talking to the man who thinks the (alleged) plane turned into "almost liquid" when it went into the Pentagon.
It turned into small pieces and big pieces. I think many of you should look at aircraft design. Look at the pictures of bird hits on commercial liners.

Why, yes, Tom, just like he thinks jet airliners should have bounced off a glass building!

The WTC towers had glass windows, the buildings were not made of glass but steel and reinforced concrete.

Glass buildings, come on! How can you confuse glass windows with glass buildings?

How come, per the films could the nose of a jet come out of the other side of a tower in a fraction of a second? The nose of a jet is fragile.

Birds can damage the nose of a jet. It would be destroyed in an instant making impact with even a glass window. The body of the plane would drop to the street because of the steel and concrete the buildings were made of.

No pilot, no matter how experienced or talented could have done those remarkable maneuvers toward those towers according to experienced and quite talented pilots.

The speeds could not have been attained. How could hijacker "pilots" who failed to navigate a little Cessna manage so perfectly with huge jets?

Yes, what are we going to believe? Our own lyin' eyes or a conspiracy theory?

I have been a pilot for 53 years. I flew military planes in the 1960s and General Aviation planes in the 70s, 80s, and 90s.

Flying those planes into the main WTC buildings was not a "remarkable maneuver." All they had to do was stay above the surrounding buildings. Just before they hit they both banked their planes for maximum impact.

The main WTC buildings are what are called a framed tube structure. The buildings used high-strength, load-bearing perimeter steel columns called Vierendeel trusses that were spaced fairly close together, 3 or 4 feet, with most of the load being carried by the core structure in the center of the building.

There was no concrete apart from the foundations and the core. The Vierendeel trusses were connected by spandrel plates which carried the glass windows. The Vierendeel trusses averaged about 14 inches across.

The idea that the plane would just bounce off and fall to the street is laughable. A 757 weighs 250,000 pounds and the second plane was moving at over 580 miles per hour (which, at that altitude, exceeds the emergency dive speed) and was in danger of breaking up in the air as it approached the south tower.

There is a little something called "inertia" you may wish to read up on. It basically says that a body in motion tends to remain in motion unless acted on by an outside force. The plane, after hitting the wall, easily crashed through the glass and spandrel plates. The Vierendeel trusses would act like knives, cutting the fuselage of the 757 into sections as it continued on its path into the building. As the wings were shredded by the Vierendeel trusses, the jet fuel would have been released and atomized by the speed of impact causing the huge fireball and setting the interior contents of the building on fire which weakened the structural steel and brought down the towers.

Now Cassidy, you know them 757s should have bounced off that tempered glass. They should have splatted like a bug on a windshield.:Whistling:Whistling:Whistling:)

Its not too hard to crash a plane.
