The Lord's supper is the Christian equivalent of the Jewish Passover. The were both instituted to remember an event.

Hmm? Perhaps you need to tell Christ that, seems prophecy lies concerning when this is to happen ,seems the Holy Ghost is behind the curve according to your knowledge. Guess you will embrace the man who is to come .........as Messiah.Never said I support the Pope either perhaps this is the first post you read of mine.
Yes, and Yeshua was the sacrifice and we are to honor that frequently, for death has Passed Over us through our Savior and Redeemer. Your point? If you are saying we need only to do this on Passover, where in scripture does it say that?
    I know it says this;
    Sharing in the Lord's Supper1Corinthians 11;25-27
…25In the same way, after supper He took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood; do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.” 26For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes. 27Therefore, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord.…

VERSE 26states - FOR AS OFTEN........
Are you of one of those Protestant sects that does not believe Christ is present in the Eucharist, when He clearly states He is?
I know Lutherans believe and some sects are finally coming to the obvious reality that He is because they are coming to the fullness of the Faith which He clearly established.
    Eu·cha·rist
    ˈyo͞ok(ə)rəst/
    noun
    noun: Eucharist; plural noun: Eucharists

    Eucharist;
Does not appear in the scripture.

The mass is a blasphemous fable and a dangerous deceit. In the mass, the so called priests claim to offer Christ over and over again.

    • Hebrews 10:10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

The only blasphemous fable and dangerous deceit, is your lack of knowledge in words,
Word Origin and History for Eucharist

"sacrament of the Lord's Supper, the Communion," mid-14c., from Old French eucariste, from Late Latin eucharistia, from Greek eukharistia "thanksgiving, gratitude," later "the Lord's Supper," from eukharistos "grateful," from eu "well" (see eu- ) + stem of kharizesthai "show favor," from kharis "favor, grace," from PIE root *gher- "to like, want" (see hortatory ). Eukharisteo is the usual verb for "to thank, to be thankful" in the Septuagint and New Testament. Related: Eucharistic.

It means to be thankful and to show gratitude to God for our salvation in Christ, by remembering and presenting the sacrificial Lamb.

    Psalm 33
33 Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright.

2 Praise the Lord with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings.

3 Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise.

4 For the word of the Lord is right; and all his works are done in truth.

5 He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord.

6 By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.

7 He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses.

8 Let all the earth fear the Lord: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.

9 For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.

10 The Lord bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect.

11 The counsel of the Lord standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.

12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.

13 The Lord looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men.

14 From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth.

15 He fashioneth their hearts alike; he considereth all their works.

16 There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength.

17 An horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength.

    18 Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;

19 To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.

20 Our soul waiteth for the Lord: he is our help and our shield.

21 For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.

22 Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.

Hebrews is just that........ for the Hebrews- in that they were making sacrifices , lambs, goats ex........ This during the time of Christ, it is addressing that, saying it is no longer needed.
You can not use scripture against scripture. Yes Jesus Christ is the sacrifice ONCE for all. I do not know where you get your interpretation of scripture from but it is a corrupt one.
    Hebrews 10:10-12
10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:

This is in reference to the priest of the temple of that era. They gave sacrifice , it can never take away sin for Christ is the True and Last sacrifice.

    12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

This means there is only one sacrifice for all, NO MORE ANIMAL SACRIFICE. God made Himself the sacrifice. And we are to give thanksgiving often. "Do this in memory of me" Get It! In this there is life, The Thanksgiving= Eucharist and Honoring the Lords Supper, for He is truly present in it. This is MY BODY which will be given up for you" Drink, this is My blood which shall be shed for ALL for the forgiveness of sins, do this in MEMORY of ME". It is pretty straight forward. God Bless!

And his lack of knowledge of the Scriptures which you so clearly pointed out by posting the following:

    Sharing in the Lord's Supper1Corinthians 11;25-27
…25In the same way, after supper He took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood; do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.” 26For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes. 27Therefore, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord.…

Yes He was. He was God so it was easy for Him to do. He was there in person AND sacramentally in the wine and bread. Pretty neat, huh?

So it would have made no difference whatsoever if the disciples had bitten off his earlobe or took a piece of baked wheat?

I get that there are differences in beliefs, but blatant irreverence and mockery is uncalled for. That in itself shows where you are spiritually. Adonia shows respect for a blessed sacred practice -you mock it. This you think is Christian? Can not deny scripture,
or your words. And it makes all the difference -what He established and what you suggest, this separates reprobate from Holy righteous decree.

    1 Corinthians 11:24

; 24and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “This is My body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”

    eucharistēsas

Eucharist is not a magical word, kent. We see Jesus giving eucharist.

Some food for thought, I may not agree with everything these people believe concerning Christian practices. But we can not deny- with what is going on, ALL CHRISTIANS NEED TO BE ALERT! Deception is just that, deception=it is masked by good intentions or even claims to be in the name of Christianity. I am just saying watch!

Jesus says don't worry about tomorrow.

    Matthew 6

34“So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

God can be coming for me today!

That is right, I do not claim anything other. So for today let each man get his house in order, for you know not when the thief will come. Make sure the locks are on the doors= put on the armor of God. Ironic, the only protection from this thief, is the thief
Him. So, for today let us proclaim Christ.
You post your comment not as one who believes in prophecy, or as one who believes he still has things to get in order, or as one who cares about the state of PRESENT things=today that I am addressing, but as one who mocks the Word of God. The Spirit of the Word is wisdom with that comes edification which one who presently reads can apply, change and grow. The Spirit of the Word is prophecy to pay heed today as not to be caught off guard tomorrow. It aids in recognizing the seasons and times, the plans of God..... which He reveals to His children.
    Amos3:6-8
…6If a trumpet is blown in a city will not the people tremble? If a calamity occurs in a city has not the LORD done it? 7Surely the Lord GOD does nothing Unless He reveals His secret counsel To His servants the prophets. 8A lion has roared! Who will not fear? The Lord GOD has spoken! Who can but prophesy?…

    Acts.2:17-19
…17‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out My Spirit on all people; your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. 18Even on My servants, both men and women, I will pour out My Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy. 19I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and clouds of smoke.…

I will Pour Out My Spirit Joel 2:28-30
28"It will come about after this That I will pour out My Spirit on all mankind; And your sons and daughters will prophesy, Your old men will dream dreams, Your young men will see visions. 29"Even on the male and female servants I will pour out My Spirit in those days. 30"I will display wonders in the sky and on the earth, Blood, fire and columns of smoke.…

Therefore you should be likened unto a wise man:
The Parables of the Treasure and Pearl Matthew 13:43-45
43Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear. 44The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and in his joy he went and sold all he had and bought that field. 45Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls.…

How am I the one mocking God if you are the one who is WORRIED AND AFRAID?

Your problem is you always point to some evil OUT THERE!

The evil is IN HERE! in the heart!

Accuser always blames someone else for their problems never taking responsibility. Its always us vs them, Its that guy over there who is the cause of my problems, its their fault.

You want to give me proper "advice"? how about you teach me to straighten out my **** with God first.

Teach me how to have proper trust and confidence in God. Teach me how to look at the things I do wrong first instead of looking to whine about and blame the speck on other people's eyes.

Help me increase and perfect my faith In Jesus Christ.

    Mark 13

32“But of that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.

I am the greatest devil my life will ever face.

I am not afraid, I am concerned for people and Israel, big difference . As for whining , no whining, warning, as all in Christ do, as for speck in ones eye, that is just a cop-out ,that statement. I am doing my part for the kingdom of heaven, call it something other if you want. As for straightening out your stuff, which is not the word you are using there, that in itself speaks volumes as to who is doing right, and who is not, who is speaking right and who is not. You just don't like what I am saying and you do not have to. You have the right to choose what you want. God Bless!

Concerned of what danger to people and Israel that God doesn't have covered?

If God is for you then who can stop you? Why don't you have relief in this?

Cause the tone I am hearing is one of lack of faith.

I don't care if the news says ten thousand devils are moving into your neighborhood tomorrow.

You still have only one problem the same problem yesterday, tomorrow and today that is our attitude, our false expectations and beliefs in God.

Its not armies or demons or what are you going to eat, or what are you going to wear.

It is called Love, the basis of Christianity. And what you are suggesting is that Christians have no obligation to one another. Of course God has everything covered, that does not mean go back to bed. You seem to have overlooked coworkers.
    God's Fellow Workers 1Corinthians 3:8-10
…8He who plants and he who waters are one in purpose, and each will be rewarded according to his own labor. 9For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, God’s building. 10By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise master builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one must be careful how he builds.…

If you say you are Christian, you therefore are God's coworker , you are the salt of the earth and a city on a hill can not be hidden .
It is being part of God's kingdom. We are His temple, we are the structure , His Holy building, some of us are pillars:

Pillar: a person or thing regarded as reliably providing essential support for something.

    To the Church in Philadelphia3:11-13
…11I am coming soon. Hold fast to what you have, so that no one will take your crown. 12The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of My God, and he will never again leave it. Upon him I will write the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God (the new Jerusalem that comes down out of heaven from My God), and My new name. 13He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.…

To say I am speaking out of fear of demons, is nonsense.......I speak because I have no fear of demons. While many are sleeping on what is happening, I am awake. But because you sleep is why you say God- has it covered, everyone else go back to sleep.
Well the OP- wine or grape juice? The child can drink grape juice, the adult will drink wine. The impotent for the impotent,
the potent for the potent. The impotent hear you, the potent hear me. So continue to speak, to the weak ,and I will further embolden the already strong.

And to your last point........ I have no problem with my Father all is right between He and I at this point.

I humbly pray Heavenly Father that I remain in your mercy and grace, and do your will always. While the scoffers- scoff ......may I laugh being secure in knowing I am in your will. While their fears are in demons due to their lack of knowledge in that......... all who are in your purpose do not sleep and much of what you have covered you cover through your servants . And those who sleep on your prophecy, will be abruptly awakened! But those who study it , as it is your desire for us to, recognize your design. In the knowledge of your majesty Lord, demons tremble and scoff through mockers, and malign the way of truth.

May all the truth I have spoken in your Spirit be a light to those who seek, for they shall always find messages from heaven.

    Utilyan:
    .

No false expectations or beliefs for me. God and His Word is the key . Those who hear Him follow Him. And you are right,
your attitude and the attitude of many have always been a problem.
