Caring about property managing God's work is a spiritual enterprise.

When the school has trouble paying its bills without raiding its endowment, when they are laying off staff, and when full time student populations are dwindling down to unprecedented low levels, the school may not exist in a few years.

The trustees are supposed to look after the interests of the school. That is their "trust."

When Patterson arrived, he "celebrated" the end of declining enrollment of full time students and declared the school to be on its way to 6,000 students (6,000 FTE).

Instead, the school has been going the other direction and has dropped about 33% from the time Patterson came in, from 2,072 FTE to 1,393 FTE in 2017-2018.

Just seems to be convenient that they not choose to do it, 18 years after the facts.

All you have heard is her side. Was it not determined that no laws were violated by him? I used to investigate rape and sexual assault. Amazing how many reported rapes were consensual sex until mommy and daddy found out. When Mommy and Daddy found out, it then became rape. That was especially true if the girl was white and the boy was black.

The root of doctrinal apostasy by the falsely named traditionalists is causing confusion and judgment to fall on these persons.
Why don't those sceptics like you and your side kick just depart....then stability will be restored and judgment averted.

Baptist Press is reporting that Karen Swallow Prior, ERLC research fellow and drafter of the petition urging the trustees to take action on Patterson, has been hit by a bus in Nashville.
