OTOH 'The Turtle' is moving right ahead (the vote was taken a day early) and seems confident:

"Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said everyone needs to calm down because Judge Brett Kavanaugh will be confirmed to the U.S. Supreme Court despite another desperate, sham Democratic stall tactic.

“I’m pleased to announce that all 51 Republican members of the Senate support the motion to proceed to the nomination,” McConnell said on the Senate floor hours after spineless Jeff Flake flip-flopped. “One hundred percent of the Republican conference supports proceeding to the Kavanaugh nomination.”..."

"...For the record, Kavanaugh has cleared six FBI background checks over the years. They all came up clean.

Despite the last-minute delay, Mitch McConnell assured the Senate that things are still on track to get Brett Kavanaugh confirmed to the Supreme Court — come hell or high water...."

McConnell announces moving forward: 'All 51 GOP members of the Senate support proceeding to nomination'

Well there is more coming about that now that the FBI is involved. There's a good chance (using Kavanaugh's own calendar) that the alleged assault took place on July 1.

But beyond that, it appears that Kavanaugh has perjured himself regarding his drinking and partying habits. There are lots of witnesses to that.

I would have a problem with him.

It seems that this really isn't about abortion or sexual assault for many people, it is about winning. It is about the side you identify with winning the battle. For those of us who do not identify with either Democrats or Republicans, this truth is blindingly obvious.

Montgomery Co. Police, Maryland State Attorney Respond to State Lawmakers' Request for Investigation into Ford Allegations

"On Wednesday, 11 of the 24 lawmakers that make up the Montgomery County House delegation sent a letter to county police and the Maryland State Attorney urging them to open an investigation into Dr. Christine Blasey Ford's sexual assault allegations against Judge Brett Kavanaugh, The Washington Post reported.

    …………………………………...

“We request an investigation be conducted if Christine Blasey Ford or other complainants support such an investigation,” the letter said. “We believe local law enforcement has the authority to investigate allegations of crimes without need for a formal complaint, and we further believe third parties have standing to bring such complaints."

    …………………………………………………………….

The letter was signed by Dels. Kumar Barve, Al Carr, Bonnie Cullison, Ariana B. Kelly, Marc Korman, David Moon, Pam Queen, Kirill Reznik, Shane Robinson, Ana Sol Gutierrez and Jeff Waldstreicher.
The Montgomery County Chief of Police and the Maryland State Attorney's Office sent a joint response to Delegate Ariana B. Kelly saying that Dr. Ford must come forward to file a criminal complaint against Kavanaugh in order for them to launch an investigation. Kelly was also reminded that the statute of limitations ran out in Ford's case:

    ……………………………………..

    Dear Delegate Kelly:

This letter is in response to your September 25, 2018 request that the Montgomery County Police Department and State's Attorney's Office open a criminal investigation involving sexual assault allegations against Judge Brett Kavanaugh. First, let us be clear that our agencies take seriously all criminal reports of sexual assault or rape against any victim. The decision to report the crime of sexual assault or rape to law enforcement is a deeply personal one and a decision that must be made by the survivor. Our agencies understand and appreciate the impact that sexual assault has on survivors and investigates all reports to law enforcement to the fullest extent.

Law enforcement agencies and victim advocacy groups from around the nation promote a victim-centered policy toward sexual assault investigations. Efforts to note revictimize the sexual assault survivor are essential. We agree with the Maryland Coalition Against Sexual Assault and their Executive Director, Lisae Jordan, that the willingness of a survivor to come forward to law enforcement is an important factor in any criminal investigation. We remain prepared to investigate any allegations, should a victim come forward.

To date, there have been no criminal reports filed with the Montgomery County Department of Police that would lead to the initiation of any criminal investigation related to Judge Kavanaugh. Furthermore, the law at the time the offense occured is the law that must be applied to any charges that might be brought. For example, in 1982, assault and attempted rape were both misdemeanors and subject to a one-year statue of limitations. The Montgomery County Police Department and the Montgomery County State's Attorney's Office stand ready to investigate any sexual assault allegations from any victim where the incident occurred in our jurisdiction.

    State's Attorney

President Donald Trump agreed to a limited FBI investigation late Friday night."

No sir, I am not. I harbor no ill will toward Adonia. Go back and read what I wrote. I pointed out that she (as I recall, Adonia is a woman), should be offended because if I made that allegation it would be unfair.

If this was to go to a court of law, the Judge would toss out her case on day 1!

It is not a court of criminal law.

It is not illegal to be black-out drunk in a private home, although he was drinking illegally when he was in high school, contrary to what he has insinuated. It is also illegal to lie under oath about one's long history of black-out drinking behavior.

Yes, someone has definitely broken the 9th commandment in this matter.

We will probably have to wait until the LORD returns for it and all other slanders, lies and deceptions to be revealed and if of course if it will matter.

This case shows that no matter how nice the person, how sweet and/or believable they may seem this truth is the word of God

Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

1 Corinthians 4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.

Since the Dems want to blast the Judge with no credible eyewitnesses, will we gewt to see parading the eyewitnesses for Senator Booker and Mr Ellison, for their allenged women abuse issues?

Adonia is a guy who drives a truck, but I will agree with you that Kavanaugh has lost a lot of credibility. Sheldon Whitehouse reveals a lot with The Judges calendar.

It was not a logical argument, it was a relevant story.
