    Eph 2:1
    And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;

    Eph 2:8
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

The Holy Spirit convicts use with the knowledge of sin, , makes us alive or able to understand and exercise faith that God has given us. Use the faith or not, believe or not, it is a choice.

God knows, idk. Paul would probable have continued to persecute Christians.

    What if you reject salvation?

If God knows Saul/Paul would not say no, the he could not have said no.

If left to myself, I would have rejected Him. Thankfully, He effectually called me.

Does the person clinically dead who was brought back play any role in the chest compressions given and the meds administered to stimulate his/her heart? No. We’d played no role in God’s divine quickening, either.

Romans 5:6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

5:7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.

5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

Would someone show me a righteous man in that statement?... How can you reject something you never deserved in the first place?... Sovereign Grace is ALL of God!... Brother Glen:)

Physical life is not our choice. We are spiritually dead and can be spiritually alive so that we can choose, eternal life or not.

I hesitate to engage directly with you [Personal attack edited].

However, I will [Personal attacked edited] attempt to gain a better understanding of freewill.

External forces are employed to put/keep a person in bondage, restrained or imprisoned. These acts are rarely, if ever, self-inflected.

Therefore, since the actions or in-actions of individuals results in the above listed consequences, I conclude freewill is a myth perpetrated by satan to allow mankind to justify what he believes or does.

Based on the following verse, external forces will call all believers to account resulting in a glorious display of God's love and grace. Praised God!!!

Rom 14:12 KJV - So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

[God]made us alive with Christ even though we were dead in trespasses.[Ephesians 2:5]

When we were dead spiritually, God unilaterally moved and quickened us to life. In this divine quickening, our wills were freed from the bondage of sin, we were imparted faith and repentance, exercised them and were saved. All of this is God’s doing.

Did Nicodemus choose eternal life?... Did Nicodemus birth himself?... What I find very interesting is that the name Nicodemus in Hebrew means Victory Of The People... So what is the peoples victory?

John 3:8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

The God that controls the wind is the God that controls eternal life... Brother Glen:)

The ability to understand or relate to the spiritual is quickening, It is not salvation. The choice of Salvation is a result.

When were you dead spiritually?, The verse does not say. when was that.

Wind = Greek πνευμα - where we get our English word "pneumatic" or "air operated."

    John 3:8 "τὸ πνευμα ..."

This is Youngs, but the Greek word for word has the same usage
    Jhn 3:7
    'Thou mayest not wonder that I said to thee, It behoveth you to be born from above;
    Jhn 3:8
the Spirit where he willeth doth blow, and his voice thou dost hear, but thou hast not known whence he cometh, and whither he goeth; thus is every one who hath been born of the Spirit.'

"wind" is not used by the "pneumatic" ideas is used from "πνεῦμα" so it is Holy Spirit willeth, blow cometh and goeth not the English understanding of wind bloweth

I'm sorry, that is pure gibberish. It makes no sense and just proves you don't have any understanding of Greek at all.

Πνευμα can be translated as "breath" "wind" or "spirit." And all the copied and pasted gibberish will not change that.

When were we, not just me, but all of Adam’s posterity spiritually dead? From birth.

When one is quickened to life, they’re saved.

You show you have no idea how to properly teach the Bible to anyone.

Lullz. You are trying to correct someone about Greek who taught it at seminary for 35+ years? You sure you want to keep this up?
