So guys if you don't have faith in Jesus, and nor repent, IS THIS A SIN?
Which commandment does it break? LOVE GOD OR LOVE NEIGHBOR?
Good Works are the result of God Holy Spirit regenerating and placing faith and love in the believer. All Glory to God, none to men.Let me run this down slowly for our brothers here.
FAITH ALONE <---required for salvation.
NO FAITH ALONE = SIN
Sin = Breaking Commandment
Breaking Commandment = Not doing LOVING GOD, LOVING NEIGHBOR
LOVING GOD, LOVING NEIGHBOR = GOOD WORKS
Good Works are REQUIRED.
Saved by faith alone, not love alone! How are FAITH ALONE folks going to argue that NOT having faith breaks the COMMAND of LOVING GOD, when LOVING GOD IS the #1 GOOD WORK.
THE ONLY definition of GOOD WORKS Is LOVE GOD AND LOVE NEIGHBOR.
To show evidence that we have been already saved, but not part of getting saved!Let me run this down slowly for our brothers here.

You're gonna have to break it down slower. I thought I had a good grade when I took logic in college, but I'm not seeing what you're seeing.Let me run this down slowly for our brothers here.

It may not have anything to do with logic's....your blindness. For the plain simple text is clear. You're gonna have to break it down slower. I thought I had a good grade when I took logic in college, but I'm not seeing what you're seeing.
Uh, the purpose of my post wasn't to display my own beliefs, but to express my opinion that the OP's argument was lacking in clarity. It may not have anything to do with logic's....your blindness. For the plain simple text is clear.
The Light of the Gospel 2Corithians 4: 3-5
…3And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. 4The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers so they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 5For we do not proclaim ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake.…
James 2:17-19 Faith and Works
…17So too, faith by itself, if it is not complemented by works, is dead. 18But someone will say, “You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith without works, and I will show you my faith by my works. 19You believe that God is one. Good for you! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.…
So it would seem faith and works can not be divided as God can not, they are one as He is one.
Salvation produces good works, not good works produce salvation! It may not have anything to do with logic's....your blindness. For the plain simple text is clear.

Ok, then you tell me what James 2:17-19 means and you will kill two birds with one stone.Uh, the purpose of my post wasn't to display my own beliefs, but to express my opinion that the OP's argument was lacking in clarity.
The OP presents a logical argument (if this, then this). That's his choice, and obviously it's the common way that we discuss things.
But if you're calling me blind and inferring that my blindness comes from unbelief (which seems apparent in light of the Scriptures you auoted), I do take issue with that.
One can be a mere professing Christian, buty they have nothing to evidence and show have been saved, while one who says Jesus saved me should have some works to show that they were really saved!Ok, then you tell me what James 2:17-19 means and you will kill two birds with one stone.
Salvation produces good works, not good works produce salvation!

The mere choice is a work. What the Holy Spirit is saying is -Like God is one Works and Faith are. If you are still trying to divide the two then you do not believe God is one.One can be a mere professing Christian, buty they have nothing to evidence and show have been saved, while one who says Jesus saved me should have some works to show that they were really saved!
