I saw those advocating KJV-only views use the term for themselves back in the 1970's or 1980's before I started also using it to describe accurately their views.

Disagreeing with opinions of men should not harm or injure any Christian's sound faith in God. People were not sound in their faith in God if presenting the truth supposedly harmed them. My advocating the just application of clear scriptural truths is not "man-made propaganda".

Do you hide behind questions seeking to attack a person instead of presenting any positive, clear, consistent, sound, scriptural case for unproven claims concerning the KJV?

There is instruction in The Holy Bible for how Believers are to love, treat, and regard one another. This is also instruction in The Holy Bible on how to be able to discern Believers from false teachers that have an antichrist agenda. Biblical Doctrine is fact. When Biblical Doctrine is disregarded and made null by men; the problem is not in the Biblical Doctrine, but in the men that disregard and disobey the written words of God.

I have not seen, anywhere, any demonstration of you advocating clear scriptural truths. I contend that your agenda is to cast doubt on the written words of God, destroy peoples' faith in God, and sew discord among the Brethren, instead of following the Lord Jesus Christ's and His chosen Apostles instruction that is written in The Holy Bible to love them, build up their faith, esteem them better than yourself, encourage them, feed them with the words of God, and to comfort the elderly and feeble with the Lord's promises and words. The discord and division is being wrought by pitting Christians against one another as to the validity of The Holy Bible. You place Believers that adhear to The Holy Bible into a group lumped with Occultists, such as the Seventh Day Adventists and Mormons, while using great swelling words to deceive and mislead people away from what is written in The Holy Bible. You are not a Greek Scholar. You cannot speak Greek fluently, write Greek, or even read Greek. Yet, you portray yourself as being an "expert" on the subject. These actions equate to the very same actions and practices of the likes of William Miller, Ellen G. White, Joseph Smith, and Charles Taze Russell.

Would you care to put me to the test and vise versa by discussing Biblical Doctrine as it is written in The Holy Bible? The same Bible that has endured for more than 500 years? The same Bible that has been used by Kings, Churches, and families around the world for generations? The same Bible that was kicked out of School along with prayer?

So, if you came to my church when I was a missionary to Japan, and learned that there was no "Japanese KJV," and then I quoted from the Greek (I taught Greek in Japan) in reference to the Japanese Bible, would you run from my church?

A man came to Japan as a missionary, learned from my friend that there is no "Japanese KJV," and called his pastor for what to do. The pastor said, "Put the KJV on the pulpit, put your hand on it, then preach from the Japanese version, and it will be okay." Do you agree with this advice?

You know, this post is against the rules here. If Logos doesn't give his "real name" here, you are being unethical to demand it. Just sayin'. If you believe the KJV as I do, you will be ethical in someone else's "house."

Since you are a teacher of Greek, what does "Logos" mean? Is the man, that you are referring to, Logos or "another logos"? Hint John1:1 2Corinthians 11 Matthew 24

If the Japanese "version" is not a word for word translation of The Holy Bible, there are problems.

If The Holy Bible is rejected, then which "version" do you use? If the Japanese "version" is a word for word translation of The Holy Bible, then why the fuss about the Greek? Is Greek the native language of Japan?

    Are you really serious ? - a 100% word-for-word translation
    is virtually impossible.

The Holy Bible had been used in The United States America since it's founding. The Holy Bible was taught in Public Schools for generations until God, The Holy Bible, and prayer were kicked out of Schools.

The United States America was always known to be a Christian Nation too, that revered and feared God, until Barak Obama, as President, decreed that The United States of America was no longer a Christian Nation. George W. Bush, as President prior to Barak Obama also made a decree; that the Muslim god "Allah" was the same god as the Christians. Allah, the Muslims moon god had no son, they deny Jesus Christ. Today, 54% of Millenials profess to be Socialists with an even greater percentage denying the faith of Jesus Christ and Him crucified, as they have converted to witchcraft. These are facts. Could these be the antichrist fruits of Leaders, Schools, and Churches rejecting The Holy Bible?

HH - your response has NOTHING to do with what I wrote.

What I said is that "Correct the KJV is a (British) English Bible translation NOT an (American) English Bible."

Are you saying that British English is identical to Americian English?
Please, since I used the word "identical) a simple yes or no is all that is needed for an answer.

It would not be fair for me to answer with a simple "yes or no". We must remember who it was that settled into America, and who it was that brought The Holy Bible with them, to preach and teach from behind the pulpits, at home, and in Schools. They were our forefathers that settled in this land we know as The United States of America from Great Britain, most notably England. This Nation was not founded by the Japanese, Asian Indians, Hindus, Buddhists, or Muslims. The United States of America was founded by Christians that were English settlers. By God's grace, they brought The Holy Bible with them to teach their peers, their children, grandchildren, great grand children, and great-great grandchildren. The United States of America was founded with the use of the King's native language of England, bestowed upon them by the KING of Kings and LORD of Lords Who is the same yesterday, today, and forever, by His power and might!

Think with me here; as time progressed, accents and dialects changed, but the written words of the LORD and their definitions never changed. The Holy Bible was taught in Public Schools for generations until Lyndon Baines Johnson and his colleagues kicked God, The Holy Bible, and prayer out of Public Schools, and went further to put a stop to Churches from having a say in choosing America's Leaders. This is how and why the American People have been dumbed down from understanding The Holy Bible, and why it is that America has not had a Christian President in the last 50 years. This is on top of the false prophets, such as the Watchtower Society, Mormons, Seventh Day Adventists, and other Occult groups flooding the American Society with their doctrines of devils, as well as the push and propaganda drive to set up and establish Muslim Mosques, Hindu Temples, and Buddhist Temples in The United States of America. Furthermore, we also see where many Churches, including Baptist Churches around the Country embracing the false prophets, as they have defied the Lord their God by embracing other strange gods, forming antichrist establishments of "Chrislam", "Christian Buddhists", and so forth. Moreover, we have seen Ravi Zacharias recently embrace the false prophet Mormons, just as Walter Martin had embraced the false prophet of the Seventh Day Adventists, and just as Marylin Hickey embraced the Muslim cult founded by the false prophet Mohammed. I can go on and on with more examples, not to mention reiterrating the fact that a great majority of Millenials that have converted to practicing witchcraft and Satanism; Many of whom have family backgrounds that consist of members that were faithful Christians.

There is a reason for this deception. The root of the problem is the rejection of The Holy Bible. I can share other examples pertaining to the statistics of the millions of people deceived into the false prophet groups that were once Baptists. The total numbers of these groups are staggering. Just 3 of the groups that were founded in America, the JWs, Mormons, and S.D.A. have a combined total of more than 60 million members. It all began with antichrists that wrested the words of God that were first members of Christian Churches. Charles Taze Russell was raised a Presbyterian, but rejected the Biblical Doctrine to hell, left the Church to study with the Adventists before forming the Watchtower Society. Ellen G. White and Joseph Smith were raised in Christian Churches too. Can you guess which Churches those were? What do you know about William Miller and the Millerites?

What pattern of wresting the scriptures was established in the Occult groups? Can that pattern of deception be traced into Churches today? How did that pattern of wresting the Scriptures get into Churches? What other tools have been used to effectually feed and promote that pattern? I will help with a couple of answers. The wresting of the scriptures began with the false prophets "going to the Greek" to undermine the written words of God, to teach antichrist doctrines. They published thousands of books. Each group contends that they are the only ones that have the truth, but that truth is not Jesus Christ. We see other examples in this Forum, of a man that claims to be Baptist, but denies the bodily ressurection of Jesus Christ. The man doesn't like The Holy Bible, but instead uses, get this now, a "Modern Translation". We can take a tour of his thread, and see how the doctrine lines up with the Watchtower Society. At what point, as Believers, should we pause to say, that is not right. There is a problem, and that problem is overtaking our Country? How and why is it that so many Churches are so removed from The Holy Bible? Could this be the result of leaven brought in by false teachers? Can we identify the false teachers? Are there Believers that are brave and bold enough to take a stand with backbone to address these issues?

The Greek word logos is polysemous. So what meaning are you referring to in these passages?

My point, simply put, is: "Adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things" (2 Tim. 2:10, KJV). If you are serious about defending the KJV, do it according to the KJV and how it teaches us as believers to act. Otherwise, you will simply drive people away from your position and from the beloved KJV.

Very well. You apparently don't have enough information abut Japan to answer my questions. Here you go:

There has never been a Bible in Japan based completely on the KJV. The Moto Yaku ("Original Translation") was based partly on the KJV and TR, but veered from it to critical texts in key passages. The Nagai Yaku NT (from Pastor Nagai) was TR based, but written in classical Japanese and is long out of print. Other than that, there is not, nor has there ever been, a KJV/TR based Japanese NT. I currently lead a project producing the first ever TR based translation (Stephanus) in modern Japanese.

The Bible used by almost all fundamental Baptists in Japan is the Shinkai Yaku, based on the same texts and done with the same translation philosophy as the NASB. Those who don't use this, will use the Classical Japanese Bible, from the same original texts.

So, what would you do in Japan? How would you win souls? As mentioned above, would you recommend putting your hand on the KJV while you preach from the Shinkai so that the KJV blessing passed through you to the Shinkai?

It's a truism that we must do something to reach the Japanese for Christ, since we are commanded to do so by the Great Commission of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. How would you do that, based on the information I have given you in this post?

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, & the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Jesus Christ is λόγος Logos and is the Author of The Holy Bible, not Rick Norris the Author of The Unbound Scriptures.

    G3056

    λόγος

    logos

    log'-os

From G3004; something said (including the thought); by implication a topic (subject of discourse), also reasoning (the mental faculty) or motive; by extension a computation; specifically (with the article in John) the Divine Expression (that is, Christ): - account, cause, communication, X concerning, doctrine, fame, X have to do, intent, matter, mouth, preaching, question, reason, + reckon, remove, say (-ing), shew, X speaker, speech, talk, thing, + none of these things move me, tidings, treatise, utterance, word, work.

    Total KJV occurrences: 330

Not actually true. The definitions of many words in the KJV have changed. For example, I just taught a theology class, and I asked the students (37 of them) who knew what "let" meant in 2 Thess. 2:7, and they all got it wrong. Do you know what it meant in 1611?

Say the word You is in a KJB verse.

Translate the Word You to the corresponding Japanese word.
