In another thread - (which got off OP on the very first response!!!) it was stated that "I think marriage should be a matter handled in the Church. It should not be a government issue."
Do you agree with that statement.
Suppose a "church" decided that wedding vows would only be valid for 10 years - and then could be renewed. (just like a drivers license)
Suppose a church decided that a couple could be married at age 10
Suppose a church decided (fill in the blank)
Should the State have anything to do with weddings.
What would an unchruched couple do if they wanted a wedding?
