As a Baptized Catholic I have the right to receive the wafer and the chalice of wine during Catholic Mass.

Not if you do not accept the Catholic teaching about it. You are perpetrating a falsehood in front of God, a grave sin.

Well since Jesus does not accept the Catholic doctrine of transubstantiation then it is not a sin that I as a Baptized Catholic receive the wafer and the chalice of wine.

And how do you know what Jesus really believes about this doctrine? The Catholic Church has explained the "Real Presence" though the concept of transubstantiation. You do not accept this most important part of the Catholic faith, therefore that action removes yourself from being a believing Catholic.

You do not believe in the Catholic teaching of baptism being a sacrament that leaves an "indelible" mark on the soul and thus can only be performed once by on person either. So that's two places where you explicitly reject Catholic teachings.

Let us go on and explore what else of Catholic teachings you now reject. Do you or do you not believe in the other 5 sacraments as taught by the Church?

    1. Marriage.
    2. Holy Orders (Priestly Ordination).
    3. Reconciliation (or Confession to a priest).
    4. The Anointing of the Sick (or healing prayer).
    5. Confirmation. (The descent of the Holy Spirit).

I still believe in the Sacraments of Marriage, Holy Orders, Confirmation and Anointing of the Sick. I don't believe in confessing sins to a priest. I confess directly to Jesus. I am considered to be a Catholic by my Catholic parish because I am a Baptized Catholic who attends Saturday Vigil Mass. I still believe that Baptism is a Sacrament but I believe it is just a dedication of infants to Jesus. I still believe that Holy Communion is a Sacrament.

Okay, so confession makes three. You have rejected three of the most basic teachings of the faith, therefore your continued claim that you somehow remain a "Catholic" in good standing is a fraud and your reception of Holy Communion at a Catholic Mass is a sacrilege before God.

Any way one looks at your actions you are living a lie - to the Baptist faith tradition, to the Catholic faith tradition, but most of all before God. I say to you repent of these most grievous sins, seek out a priest and confess and receive absolution in the name of Jesus Christ. Either that or stop going the Catholic Church altogether and become fully Baptist - God is not fooled.

In my opinion, you sir have no personal integrity. But, I have done my job - you have been dutifully informed, you alone will bear the consequences.

Yes I attend Saturday Vigil Mass but I don't participate in the unscriptural parts of the Mass.

I do not know anyone who does so to everyone they meet. But the reason is given in,
Mark 16:15, ". . . he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. . . ."
And, Matthew 28:20, ". . .Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: . . ." And then there is Acts of the Apostles 20:20, ". . . and from house to house, . . ." Which is also done through some local Baptist churches. That is how I was reached to come to know Christ as Savior the following Sunday many years ago.

You cannot do both. To participate in the Mass is antithetical to Baptist understanding of communion. To participate in Baptist communion is antithetical to Catholic understanding of the Mass. To participate in the Mass is perpetrating a fraud on the Catholic church you attend. If you willfully reject teachings of the Catholic church, then you have no business participating in the Mass.

If you are a believer, why in the world would you want to be assiciated with the RCC which condemned the Gospel to hell at the Council of Trent and again at Vatican II?

    I truly do not understand

What parts of the mass do you believe are 'unscrptural'? Have you ever studied Catholic apologetics to see how the Church answers your objextions? You might want to pick up a copy of: 'Born Fundamentalist, Born Again Catholic ' by David Curie and compare Baptist teaching against Catholic teaching. Both base their teachings on scripture. Both come to very different conclusions.

All the obvious questions were asked of him last time he started a thread like this. He stopped answering questions. He leaned towards Lutheranism but denied Real Presence in communion. I am thinking troll.
