That is an interpretation. I understand the meaning differently. 1 John 2:2. Romans 14:9-11.
    John 15:6. 2 John 1:9.

How can anyone to be once saved if the Lord never knew them? Did the Lord lie? (Titus 1:2)

What do you think of this? ...
“… who fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him” (Acts 10:35)

Do you mean all sin is habitual in general?
Because a particular sin can be committed only once.

That's called a universal Truth and it was directed at everyone!
Any unforgiveness by anyone towards anyone will keep the former out of heaven.
If Father God doesn't forgive you, then you're NOT entering His heaven!
    Hopefully that's obvious to you.
And hopefully that's obvious to you that ...
it's just another NT verse which disqualifies OSAS.

Satan is the greatest liar and deceiver in history!
And many pastors have many reasons for not teaching the whole Truth.

“No one who is born of God practices sin, because His seed abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. By this the children of God and the children of the devil are obvious: anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor the one who does not love his brother.” 1 John 3:9–10 (NASB95)

No, that is not what the text says. It is not talking about salvation. What that passage refers to is the daily forgiveness we receive. It is not talking about the forgiveness we receive at the cross.

Your approach means that God has to retroactively "un-forgive" everything He has previously forgiven. That is not what the text teaches. If we want to experience the peace of daily forgiveness in our lives, if we want to remain free from the pain of guilt and condemnation that we receive from the enemy, then we must forgive others. God will withhold that forgiveness if we withhold it from others.

The promoting lies and deceit is you. You twist Scripture with the skill of the chief liar, himself.

I both fear God and do my best to be righteous.
Actually if you think about it the sin we have already committed. They commit there old sins and much more often. You take sexual sin When I grew up I new what sex was but had not experienced it, it was something that married folks do. I didn't crave sex and wasn't extremely attracted to it. I was curious no doubt. When I grew up I experienced sex after that I was attracted to it. I desired it. It's the same with all sin once you have experienced it you are more likely to do it again.. Since this is the case in my opinion. All sin is habitual. We all sin and some of ask for forgiveness. and some don't. However grace abounds. Our Sins are forgiven past present and future because we have eternal life. This does not mean we won't be punished for our present sins
As you sew so shall we all reap. Especially when we do not repent and ask for forgiveness. We may have to pay in this life but pay we will with out forgiveness.
Not even one of us is with out sin. Because there is no man who does good and sins not. We all need to do like Paul said, that is he "died daily" to his sins. This is done by dying to sin everyday. IOW's get forgiveness

I take a NT verse at face value, especially IF it is confirmed by other NT verses.
And there are very few stand-alone verses!
I don't look everywhere for excuses to try and prove it isn't saying what it's saying.
Everywhere I go, I'm confronted with BIAS DEFENDERS.
NT Truth is discovered by RECONCILING 2 opposing sets of verses.
Try it, you might like it.
But, having a strong bias, you probably won't try it because you wouldn't like it.

What a load of crock. Folks this kind of garbage doctrine is dangerous. Those who post this stuff think they know something when in fact they are doing nothing more than posting their personal preferences due to their own warped luggage in life. They troll the internet with their trash trying to make themselves feel better about what they want to hold on to. The op and the basis for this thread is not an attempt at an honest discussion but trollish activities of someone who needs something in their life. Don't feed the troll.

    1st many ... incorrect (understated) - it's actually most
    2nd many ... incorrect (overstated) - it's actually several

This is the Truth about what's happening today.
Oh sorry, you're not much into Truth ... just deceptions, biases, etc.

    Re: teaching the Truth ...
how many pastors are you aware of who teach on
the many dire warnings in the NT about losing salvation?

What cave do live in again ... I forget.
If people who live in caves had the Internet,
they would be more up on what's going on in the world.

    Location and cave number, please.

I take Scripture literally, which is entirely different than "face value" which is a fleshly and inaccurate method of interpreting Scripture.

I am not a bias defender. I am a truth defender and I can spot your lies and deception a mile away.

There are no opposing verses. The Bible has one consistent message. It does not have to be reconciled to itself. You don't know beans about how to interpret scripture. Your posts only prove that you are utterly incompetent and unskilled.

No. The law was to be just, ". . . life shall go for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot. . . ." -- Deuteronomy 19:21. The law was to be just and equal. And Jesus taught against taking law into one's own hands.
