Sorry Dave the scriptures are fine. The problem is your interpretation of them. Nothing you have claimed here is biblical.

↑ Sanctification and repentance comes by believing God's Word *
ROMANS 10:17.
Your response...
No they do not. Belief does not open the door to forgiveness. Forgiveness was already a sure thing to His children.
How can you have forgiveness if you do not believe God's Word? Then we have God's Word that disagrees with your words that says...
JOHN 3:15-21 [15], That
WHOEVER BELIEVES in him should not perish, but have eternal life. [16], For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that WHOEVER
BELIEVES i
n him should not perish, but have everlasting life. [17], For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. [18],
He that BELIEVES on him is not condemned: but he that
BELIEVES NOT is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. [19], And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
Only God's Word is true Dave and we should believe and follow it *ROMANS 3:4
People believe because they are ordained to eternal life ( Acts of the Apostles 13:48 ), and a person does not believe because they are not "of" Christ's sheep ( John 10:26 ).
NO! You have it back the front. We are ordained to life because we BELIEVE. If we do not believe we are condemned because we do not believe *JOHN 3:15-21. The scripture you have provided in JOHN 10:26 does not support your claim it supports what is being shared with you now. Let's see why by adding in the context? Please follow these scriptures carefully...
JOHN 10:1-27
[1], Truly, truly, I say to you, He that enters not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
[2], But he that enters in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
[3], To him the porter opens; and
THE SHEEP HEAR HIS VOICE (the Word of God: and
HE CALLS HIS OWN SHEEP BY NAME AND HE LEADS THEM OUT (those who hear God's Word follow what God says).
[4], And when he puts forth his own sheep,
HE GOES BEFORE THEM AND THE SHEEP FOLLOW HIM:
FOR THEY KNOW HIS VOICE (the Word; God's Sheep are those who follow the Word of God).
[5], And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.
[6], This parable spoke Jesus to them: but they understood not what things they were which he spoke to them.
[7], Then said Jesus to them again, Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.
[8], All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.
[9], I AM THE DOOR; BY ME
IF ANY MAN ENTER IN HE SHALL BE SAVED AND SHALL GO IN AND OUT AND FIND PASTURE
[10], The thief comes not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
[11], I AM THE GOOD SHEPHERD;
THE GOOD SHEPHERD GIVES HIS LIFE FOR THE SHEEP. (JESUS gives his life for those who BELIEVE God's Word and follows God's Word).
[12], But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, sees the wolf coming, and leaves the sheep, and flees: and the wolf catches them, and scatters the sheep.
[13], The hireling flees, because he is an hireling, and cares not for the sheep.
[14],
I AM THE GOOD SHEPHERD AND KNOW MY SHEEP (those who BELIEVE and FOLLOW God's WORD)
AND AM KNOWN BY MINE.
[15], As the Father knows me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
[16], And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
[17], Therefore does my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
[18], No man takes it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.
[19] There was a division therefore again among the Jews for these sayings.
[20], And many of them said, He has a devil, and is mad; why hear you him?
[21], Others said, These are not the words of him that has a devil. Can a devil open the eyes of the blind?
[22], And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter.
[23], And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch.
[24], Then came the Jews round about him, and said to him, How long do you make us to doubt? If you be the Christ, tell us plainly.
[25], Jesus answered them, I TOLD YOU AND YOU BELIEVED NOT: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.
[26], But Y
OU BELIEVE NOT BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT MY SHEEP,
AS I SAID TO YOU (v3-4).
[27],
MY SHEEP HEAR MY VOICE AND I KNOW THEM AND THEY FOLLOW ME (those who are God's Sheep hear His Voice; the Word of God and they follow God's Word.)
Context matters! God's Sheep are all those who hear God's Word and follow it..
Hope this helps.
