Amen. That is how you cast your Christianity aside (along with sitting out elections). Applying the Timothy test to a candidate rather than the Romans 13 test, shows total ignorance the biblical teaching on government. Would you still call the police for help, if you knew an officer with suspect moral values would be sent over?

Even with all that said, Trump is turning out to be morally superior to most of his critics. The man has truly impressed me, shortcomings and all.

Wrong. There is no Biblical warrant requiring Christians to engage in the political process.

Sickening? So much so that a Christian cannot vote for him because of this parody of the two FBI folk and their pillow talk?

It was in very bad taste. It was NOT presidential. It was from a frat boy mentality that apparently the crowd also has. And, like a lot of what Trump says or should I say HOW he says it, I didn't like it at all.

But sickening to the point that a Christian should not vote for him?

    Nice try, but no cigar.

How about Trump using the Lord’s name in vain at his rally in North Carolina during the summer? Are willing to dismiss that, too?

You should be watching the MLB playoffs anyway. At this point you know what trump’s rallies are so you can only be paying attention in order TO be offended.

The Astros don’t start playing in the ALCS until
7:00 tonight. I’m just as content listening to the radio broadcast as watching on TV. Grew up listening to games on the radio. Other than hockey and soccer I am usually content with radio broadcasts. I can do other things while listening.

No, you are wrong. If you are an American citizen, you are part of a governing body called the electorate. You actually have governing authority. You have been given a task from God, as all governments are from God (Rom. 13). No American citizen is exempt. If you choose to sit back, virtue signal, and allow unbelievers handle your job, good luck justifying that. Jesus told you give to Caesar what is Caesar's.

Imagine if you were the son of a king, next in line, and then, when taking up the throne, you decided, "Nah, I'm not going to do anything. I'm too righteous for this. I'm going to sit back and allow pagans and unbelievers to govern." You really believe that's what God would want?

There is no law in the United States requiring one to be involved in the political process. If there ever is one, then your point can be discussed from a Biblical perspective.

Yes, we don't force people to do righteous things. So? Does that mean you don't do the good you ought to do, and have been granted the authority to do?

James 4:17 Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.

On average, about everything 35 seconds (if my calculations are correct), a baby is slaughtered with a vacuum needle. They merely need to you drag yourself down to a polling station and vote pro-life.

But yes, you are right, it's not illegal to turn your back on them.

No one is forced to have an abortion , whether it is legal or not. I think Roe v. Wade was wrongly decided. The U.S. Constitution does not place abortion within the purview of the federal government.

The Constitution protects the rights of humans beings. Unborn children are human beings. Surely you believe this, unless you are a science denier.

Regardless, God's purpose for government is to protect the innocent, and punish the guilty. You, right now, have the luxury of calling law enforcement if anyone were to endanger your life. If that protection were lifted, you would be indignant, demonstrating in the streets. How about reserve just a little of that indignation for the unborn who have no voice of their own?

Yes, but I wouldn’t be calling the federal government. Have Trump supporters thrown away the rule of law as established by the framers of the Constitution?

You conveniently changed it from a biblical mandate to a state law when pointed out that you were in error. I'm calling you out on that.

There is neither a Biblical mandate nor a law.
