The NT documents are claimed by virtually every religious group that claims to be Christian. Those 27 books are generally deemed to be 1st century Apostolic documents and being the inerrant word of God handed down to us today.

Your faith as listed as Baptist. That particular faith tradition never existed until started by one man, an ex Anglican minister named John Smyth. That is the true historical fact my friend.

You should understand that the question is not to determine what God can or cannot do based on words in a book as you have said, as if the book of the Lord was just any vulgar book. You are wrong.

We can see by your own words you know not the book of the Lord. By the spirit manifested in your words posted above, we can see that the Devil has placed in your brain that the LORD's book is like any common book among the books written by the spirits of demons spread in around the world. You are wrong.

No, again you are wrong completely, God never, but never, revises His everlasting Word revealed to Moses, and to the prophets, at last, unto all the 24 authors of the HOLY SCRIPTURES, by the way, they are the 24 ELDERS, you know not of this also.

And why the Most High and Almighty God never does, but never, any revision in His everlasting Word?

Now, now, it is because the Omniscient, and Omnipresent, and Omnipotent God NEVER err. Did not you know of this? By the way, the
Word is God, do you understand?

You know not God, so how can you give a true testimony of Him? Of course you can't, never, but never. You only heard to speak of God, but never known Him. By the way, JESUS left very clear: "No man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, SAVE the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal Him." This is written in the book of my LORD and God, understand?

1John 5:v.7 - 7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word (the Word made flesh - JESUS), and the Holy Spirit: and these three are one.

The explicit teachings of the NT existed before hand. Creedal immersion, Mark 16:16.

QUOTE="Salty, post: 2566076, member: 5656"]Where does Scripture say it MUST be read aloud? and if so? How many verses or chapters much be read. Must it be done in unison or only the pastor should read. Must a passage be read from both Testaments or just the Scripture you are preaching that day? Is it required that everyone stand when that Scripture is read - a) only when the text is read or b) every time the pastor reads out of his Bible.[/QUOTE]

Early church practice was apparently to read only a single pericope from the OT and NT each time and then preach on one or both, with the reading done by a designated lector and the preaching by the pastor.

Of course in early services those in the congregation who were able also stood throughout the entirety.

Yes, you are right. From Genesis to Revelation - the only approved 66 books. By the way, Revelation was linked to the canon, to the book of the Lord, around 65 years after the ascention of our LORD Jesus to the heaven - by the way, to the third heaven.

Let me add more profound details about the canon, specificaly about the Old Testament that was established by the Most High God, beginning by Moses.

Revelation 4 - The KING'S HEAVENLY THRONE AND THE 24 ELDERS

Having John been gotten to rise up to the 3rd heaven as a guest, he entered in the environment of God's Kingdom and he did see that a throne was set and the King was sat on the throne. In this CELESTIAL scenario, there were also more 24 thrones round the King's throne, and sat on the thrones John saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold. These 24 ELDERS are the 24 chosen men of the Most High God which did write the books of the Old Testament, beginning by Moses.

LIST OF THE TWENTY FOUR ELDERS
    1 - Moses
    2 - Joshua
    3 - Samuel
    4 - Ezra
    5 - Nehemiah
    6 - Job
    7- David
    8- Solomon
    9 - Isaiah
    10 - Jeremiah
    11 - Ezekiel
    12 - Daniel
    13 - Hosea
    14 - Joel
    15 - Amos
    16 - Obadiah
    17 - Jonah
    18 - Micah
    19 - Nahum
    20 - Habakkuk
    21 - Zephaniah
    22 - Haggai
    23 - Zechariah
    24 - Malachi.

The 7 LAMPS - the 7 SPIRITS of GOD
There were also in this CELESTIAL environment (7) seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the (7) seven Spirits of God: The 7 spirits of God are:
    - the spirit of wisdom
    - the spirit of understanding
    - the spirit of counsel
    - the spirit of might
    - the spirit of knowledge
    - the spirit of fear of the Lord,
    - the holy spirit.
    From the throne came forth lightnings, voices and thunderings;

The GREAT CELESTIAL CEREMONY and the GUESTS
During the great CELESTIAL ceremony John did see that out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices, for there were many many GUESTS at the ceremony and many voices.

    The CHERUBS
In the great HEAVENLY ceremony there were four Cherubs, and day and night they never stop saying “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty -JESUS-, which was, and is, and is to come. And when those 4 Cherubs give glory and honour and thanks to Him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever, then the four and twenty elders fall down before the Lord God and Almighty JESUS that was sat on the throne, and worship Him that lives for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, Thou are worthy, O Lord, to receive Glory and Honour and Power: for thou has created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

In Christ JESUS, KING of kings(kings made by Him) and LORD of lords

    ⦁ Oseas

    PS.
    Matthew 19:v.27-28

27 Then answered Peter and said unto JESUS, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore?

28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration (Acts 3:v.19-24) when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon (12) twelve thrones, judging the (12) twelve tribes of Israel.
