The original post and the title don' t jibe. I was responding to the title.

Serious question here Scarlet: Would you feel honored if Al Sharpton were preaching your mom's funeral? Would your mom feel honored to have Al Sharpton preach your funeral or hers? I think the point that Sai was stressing was that a supposed righteous family invited a race-baiting charleton to speak at a departed family member's funeral. Why would Christ-honoring people do that?
My feeling is that Sharpton would garner more publicity for them than the local pastor.

Shows you know nothing about SAINT Augustine. Pick up a book and read and put down your Chick Publications Tracts.

Augustine was the first to introduce the allegorical hermeneutic which has been the bane of Christianity ever since.

Al Sharpton would not preach my mother's funeral if I had to, in tears, "escort" him off the pulpit area all by myself.

He's a fake and has race-baited ever since I have known of him which has been years.

I also will not judge Floyd's family as going to hell because Sharpton spoke. I don't know the circumstances of how that decision came to be.

There are many people who think they are saved and are not. Trump may be one of them. I guess that makes me racist.

I thought there was a 30-day rule on this forum?

Or does that not apply to black-skinned people?

I would love to sit down, off camera, and talk with All Sharpton about God and the scriptures. I listened to his sermon at the Minneapolis memorial for George Floyd that was held at North Central University (a Pentacostal school). Sharpton, while not giving a conversion sermon, was not wrong in what he said. I suggest you all take a listen.

The rule is when a thread reaches 150 comments.
Do you hate people with Black skin pigment? Do you realize God chose to make everyone with the skin color of his choice? You better get used to every skin color cause you will be living with children of God that have every skin color. You don't like that, then you are in the wrong faith.

Boy, do you have problems with reading.

Allow me to explain this. This forum does have a rule that you don't attack people for 30 days after their death. For some silly reason this rule has not been evoked to shut down this thread. I rhetorically questioned if the reason why the moderators were allowing a newly dead man to have his salvation questioned and his family attacked at the funeral is because he was "black-skinned".

I don't think that the moderators are actually racist, I just think they missed the problems with this thread.

Sorry, I have not read any rule that says you can't talk about a murder for 30 days.

Marty, you need help. You’ve probably never stepped foot in an all black store, bar, community. The discussion about George is important. Black lives matter is not about good black people it’s about criminals like George that resist arrest and fight cops. Are Americans supposed to give a pass about the hostility of black criminals towards the police because they’re black?

Yes. They want to impose false values on society. They want to make an icon out of criminals so that society worships it.

Nope. That's not it. You have bought a lie. But, I bet it makes you feel superior and feeds your pride.

LOL, I spent 20 years teaching in the hood. I am not ignorant about poverty and the struggles it brings. I am aware of what God has done in my heart to make me very aware of the sinful thoughts I harbored that were racist. My call on the BB is for my brothers and sisters to become aware of sin that dwells within that is racist. Take some time to look inward and repent of thoughts, words and behaviors that are racist.

Ask him why he knew Tawanna Brawley was making up the whole story about the cops in Newburgh, NY and insisted (caught on tape) that she stick to her lie. he has never apologized or showed any sort of remorse. one of the officers he accused committed suicide after his wife left him over the accusations. okay with you?

Which hood? Because I spent time in south central la and there are horrible blacks committing evil deeds. If white were doing it I’d be on your cases as well.

By the way, why aren’t any blacks in that Seattle free zone anymore? Where did they go?
