Because, while God chose to adopt us before the foundation of the world, we still have a point in time where God makes us alive with Christ, saves us by grace, and gives us the gift of faith (Ephesians 1 and Ephesians 2).
What Newton does not say is: "The hour I first chose."

Whether he said chose or believed, denotes an action, something he had to do to get a certain outcome.

And what has that to do with people entering the kingdom of heaven. The 1000 year kingdom is not in view. Full Stop; Context context - continue as if context was always in view.

It denotes God's gift of faith, which activates our capacity to believe. We don't get to take credit so that none of us can boast.
Choice is not a function of belief in Newton's use of the phrase "the hour I first believed."

Why would we boast about receiving God's grace? All glory goes to Him because HE did the saving! And I don't know if you're native English speaker, but the pronoun 'I' goes with the verb 'believed' so it means that NEWTON, had to BELIEVE, upon Jesus. Besides, history says he was a MILD Calvinist so whatever that means, he obviously didn't believe in your elect view.

Do you think Paul had a real free will to say no thanks to Lord Jesus?

Furthermore, please give me your thoughts on the one unpardonable sin which is denying the Holy Spirit in your heart? Do you Calvinist's even acknowledge that? Or do you pretend it doesn't exist?

Fair??? according to your standard:Cautious God is perfect. Your post indicates you need to study the attributes of God.

Reprobation is a biblical doctrine;

Reprobation
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Jump to navigationJump to search
Reprobation, in Christian theology, is a doctrine of the Bible found in many passages of scripture such as Romans 1:20-28, Proverbs 1:23-33, John 12:37-41, Hebrews 6:4-8 etc. which teaches that a person can reject the gospel to a point where God in turn rejects them and curses their conscience to do unnatural and abominable things. In Calvinist doctrine, the reprobate are those Christ rejected before the world began. The English word reprobate is from the Latin root probare (English: prove, test), and thus derived from the Latin, reprobatus (reproved, condemned), the opposite of approbatus (commended, approved).

When a sinner is so hardened as to feel no remorse or misgiving of conscience, it is considered a sign of reprobation. This isn’t teaching that because of their wicked actions that God will not save them, but that God has withdrawn his offer of salvation and he gives them over to a seared conscience and now they can do vile actions. The vile actions and the many different things are evidence of a reprobate mind.

God has chosen a multitude that no man can number to be the objects of His saving love. That is hardly, "a select few". This shows you need to study the Covenant of redemption.
Yes, I don't disagree that he knows who will be saved and who will not, because He knows what our choice will be before we make it.
This is a falsehood once again.
1689 10:2
2._____ This effectual call is of God's free and special grace alone, not from anything at all foreseen in man, nor from any power or agency in the creature, being wholly passive therein, being dead in sins and trespasses, until being quickened and renewed by the Holy Spirit; he is thereby enabled to answer this call, and to embrace the grace offered and conveyed in it, and that by no less power than that which raised up Christ from the dead.
( 2 Timothy 1:9; Ephesians 2:8; 1 Corinthians 2:14; Ephesians 2:5; John 5:25; Ephesians 1:19, 20 )

Those who have not studied these things say such things when in reality it is their lack of understanding.
This is an unbiblical fantasy since it ignores spiritual death

Or...we see something you have been misled about.;):Notworthy;)

He COULD have, but it's a good thing he didn't reject Him! Praise be to God. (not paul for choosing) but God for softening his heart to believe!

The fact you used WIKIPEDIA as one of your sources tell me you are very misguided and believing in lies. :p ALSO. WHAT?! Only a FEW accept God's grace! A MULTITUDE maybe to OUR THINKING AND UNDERSTANDING, but there are FEW people who choose to follow and trust Holy God!

Enter in by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the. way that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter in by it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. (Matthew 7:13-14)

Okay, what is YOUR definition of the unpardonable sin then? If you reject the Bible's definition.

Don't you think that God will would get done, as he was the One that chose Paul as Apostle to the Gentiles?

God orchestrates His perfect will, while allowing his creation to have free will. As the scpiture says:

"All things work together for the good of those who love God, who are called according to His purpose." That just means God knew beforehand we would choose Him! Yes we were called, even before we were in our mother's womb! But we still were allowed a choice in God's divine plan. It doesn't make sense to us, heck, doesn't even make much sense to me but this is what God has shown me from His word!

For God's ways are higher than our ways, as the heavens are higher than the earth.

And, we must not learn upon our own understanding, but in all our ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct our paths! :)

The unpardonable sin is not a sin that can be committed today by individual believers. Plus Paul committed the unpardonable sin and was forgiven of it. The unpardonable sin in the only context that it is found in scripture is a national sin and was committed by Israel as noted by Jesus’ words concluding the passage where he says “so shall it be with this generation.” It is the national rejection of Jesus Christ while he was present, by Israel, on the basis of demon possession.

After Mt 12 three drastic changes take place in the ministry of Jesus that can only be comprehended when the unpardonable sin is accurately defined.

I used wikipedia as a simple source, because it looks like you need basic ideas. I looked at the link you offered the other day, and knew you were badly misled.
