Not the way I might diagram the sentence.

Then Peter said to them,
repent and be spiritually baptized,
each of you based on the authority of Jesus Christ,
for forgiveness of sins
and you shall obtain the gift of the Holy Spirit.

You can only obtain the Holy Spirit after you have been made righteous. Thus after you have been baptized into Christ, undergone the washing of regeneration, then you are sealed in Christ with the Holy Spirit.

Romans 10
How can they call on whom they have not believed?

Romans 10:16 says they did not all heed the good news. Therefore others did heed the good news, thus they believed, thus they called, and thus those were saved by God alone.

I see there is a great difference in my understanding of a New Testament church (which baptizes in water, as the Saved soul identifying with Jesus in His Death, Burial, and Ressurection, BUT ALSO TO "JOIN THAT PARTICULAR CHURCH BODY that was Organised, as Jesus' Were and Are.)

...and the added wording to 'spiritually baptized'(?)

...and what "you shall obtain the gift of the Holy Spirit means.

... and the Plan of Salvation, in General.

So, I have or could write on them, elsewhere, in order to refer.

No one, here on the board, seems to know the NewTestament definition of the word, "church", much less How She Functions, Organizationally.

That's where I need to begin teaching. (I'll post in the Baptist History forum).

For posterity and reference to those God Has Chosen to also know of and are members of one of The Lord's churches, where considered members of that body (what a church is), WHEN THEY WERE: Seen to have a Salvation Testimony, were Led by the Holy Spirit, and surrendered to Scriptural Baptism, as Peter commanded.

Peter Commanded SAVED SOULS to BE BAPTISED, by The Authority of God from John's Baptism.

All that were recorded in The Bible were BAPTISED, by The Authority of God from John's Baptism.

The same with Saved Baptist's, today, who are Aware of Jesus' Churches.

...

See, my view is very different.

One Baptism In Water. DISOBEDIENCE TO DIVINE COMMANDS IS NOT A WORK OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.

Romans 10:16, all did not heed indicates some did heed. :)

1) On the other hand I do not deny be were spiritually baptized into Christ, Romans 6:3

2) But then I did say only those placed in Christ are sealed in Christ after they have been undergone the circumcision of Christ.

3) I did not address the "plan of salvation."

On and on folks, Calvinists misrepresent the bible and their opponents to peddle false doctrine.

Note the studied effort to avoid the topic and simply demean me.

Romans 10:16, all did not heed indicates some did heed. But deniers "shake it off."
Some deny we were spiritually baptized into Christ, Romans 6:3 They just shake it off.
Some say only those placed in Christ are sealed in Christ after they have been undergone the circumcision of Christ. Others shake truth off. Ephesians 1:13, Colossians 2:11

1. No such thing as "spiritually baptized into Christ" anywhere in The Bible.

2. baptism and circumcision have zero to do with Salvation, except as images, or pictures.

3. You say you don't discuss your Plan of Salvation, but you do actually mention a different one or two every time you post.

Like, "Hating God, under the guise of 'Hating Calvin' ", is The Plan of Salvation.

Yes, I don't agree with any of your unlimited Plans of Salvation.

I do not believe, "Hating God, under the guise of 'Hating Calvin' ", is The Plan of Salvation

On and on folks, Calvinists post unhinged twaddle.

1) This Calvinist denies the Spirit baptized us spiritually into the body of Christ. 1 Corinthians 12:13
2) Being spiritually placed (put, transferred, immersed) into Christ has everything to do with Salvation.
3) No quote was provided to substantiate the false claim concerning God's Redemption Plan.
4) This Calvinist makes the material false statement that hating Calvinism equals hating God.
5) This Calvinist makes the material false statement I believe in multiple plans of Salvation. There is only one Savior.

The One Plan:

1) Christ laid down His life becoming the means of salvation for the whole world
2) We hear and understand and fully put our trust, love and devotion in Christ
3) God credits our faith (or not) and if He credits our faith as righteousness, He alone places us spiritually into Christ.

Really simple

any plan of Salvation must begin with sin.

He may have meant 1 cor 12 .13
For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.?
