Could any HOA in the U.S. place race as a stipulation for living there?

They say they aren't making it black exclusively, they just want it to be black predominantly, you know, as in systemically.

 

Which means, to me then, it wouldn't work. With people comes problems. A few years down the road, financial problems can affect a home owner. He decides to sell his home. A white family offers him what he is asking. What can he do? Deny them cause they are white?

I know they must have considered this. Would they have it written somewhere in their agreement that race would be a factor? And if they did, would it be legal?

And if it is considered legal, then white people should be able to do the same.

Q, did you read the article to the end? It's not to be officially exclusively black.

It is however, inspired by previously established all black towns.

It's rather humorous that they say they want to become a former black city.

"There's so many former Black cities," said Scott. "We hope that we can be one of those as well."

Scott and Walters say they've gotten questions about why they want to create an all-Black city. Their response? It's something that's been done for generations.

"It's impossible to have anything exclusively Black because our families are integrated," says Scott. "We are an integrated, tolerant and diverse community even as Black people, so we don't intend for it to be exclusively Black, but we do intend for it to be pro Black in every way."​

 

What's the difference? If you allow only blacks, or blacks and only whites that are pro black, there is no difference.

Again, the white people should be allowed to do the same. Only whites or others who are pro white are allowed to live there.

As I have said, I am all for it as long as whites can do the same.

I hear what you're saying, I just don't see it in the article. They are not making it officially all black, only systemically predominantly black, which I find laughable, but unsurprising and utterly hypocritical. It's what they claim the US is already, but for whites.

 

The article seems to be suggesting an experiment with socialism where the participants are to share their wealth and are only black.

"...supporting one another and that dollars circulating in our community, that is our vision."

Also they are going on the premise that racism is so bad that they are not safe and using the example of blacks making their own towns back in the 1,800s as if we need to go back or have returned to the days where blacks were kicked out of towns. Such divisiveness propaganda! CNN is unscrupulously supporting an idea of taking the blacks back to being tribes as if that would be a solution to the racism that supposedly exist today. In short, CNN is feeding the idea of black tribe socialist communities as a solution to a fake problem.

 

I did read the link. It was founded in the 1800’s, prior to laws banning segregation.

Actually I didn't claim the opposite. You're talking about the Church. Jesus was talking about difference of race and nation. You need to see the difference.

The Scriptures I gave show that Jesus recognized the difference in race.

I mean, God did choose the Jews didn't He? (Deut. 7:6) "For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy god hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth."

You are referring to “blacks” as if the overwhelming majority of Americans of African descent are rioting. It’s just not true. Recent poll showed over 80% of Americans of African descent want more police.
