National Israel is irrelevant. We are citizens of the heavenly kingdom. (See Gal. 4)

While Christians have our responsibilities as citizens of our countries, we are primarily citizens of the eternal kingdom.

Most Christians thought that with 1948 that "end times" were beginning, & within a generation Jesus would return. Now over 70 years - 2 generations - have passed & the Israel state continues in apostacy. The next apocalyptic event will be Jesus' return without specific warning, apart from increasing apostacy.

 

The Lord still can intervene on this, bujt must be a big revival, another great Awakening!

 

just maybe we are seeing bible prophecy to be fulfilled, as the end will come quickly!

 

Right before the Second Coming all of the nations shall assemble together to move against Jerusalem and Israel!

Thanks for the concern. My wife & I are well. We have received the Pfizer vaccination without complications. The only local case I have met is assistant at the village shop. She has fully recovered.

Thanks to God I am fit & well despite looking forward to my 82nd birthday in March. Until the covid lockdown I have been playing tennis at club standard. I go for walks of about an hour (weather permitting) around our beautiful "Golden Valley" & engage in brain activities like crosswords & sudoku.

I was challenge by a local lady at the church concerning Israel. She introduced my to the "Christian Friends of Israel" organisation. I wrote to the secretary & have had appreciative replies - though no concessions. As a result I am now working on tracts intended to courteously challenge "Christian Zionism" & promote the Gospel. In essence my argument is that -

Jesus is the Seed of Abraham through whom God's people from all nations are blessed;
Jesus fulfilled, FINISHED, all the covenant promises;
In these "last times" from Pentecost until Jesus returns, the promises to Israel are fulfilled spiritually to all believers, including Jews;
the holy nation, the prophesied nation of Israel, comprises all believers, so that there is no separate ethnic Jewish nation;
the experience of the Jews during the last 2,000 years is not God's punishment for their rejection of Christ.​

Also I've taken up water colour painting, hymn & poetry writing, music - I bought ukuleles with grandchildren in mind & have my own youtube channel, so far limiting accompaniment to the use of my Indian harmonium - see my avatar. I hope to share these on the forum.

I believe USA is the fallen Babylon in Revelation 18:1-24. When Revelation testifies to one third of the earth is burned up, I can see why God separated the western hemisphere from the rest of the world. Such a calamity would be cause for the New World Order & the mark of the beast system.

Babylon USA is committing fornication & causes other nations to commit fornication per Revelation 14:8 Do note how the gospel is preached everywhere by the 1st angel in Revelation 14:6-7 Then note how the 3rd angel warns everyone for taking the mark of the beast in Revelation 2:9-11 This is the event that sets up the hour of temptations that shall try all remaining on the earth after the rapture per Revelation 14:1-5 ( signifies of those raptured, who made up His personal choir in Heaven. )

This is why we are called to be ready with the Lord's help Hebrews 12:1-2 & 1 John 3:3,8 & 2 Timothy 4:18; not just for abiding in Him ( John 15:1-8 ) , but to be willing to go too Luke 21:33-36 & Luke 14:15-35 & Luke 17:26-37 or else Luke 12:40-49

Regardless of how this fiery calamity comes...when the Lord comes back as King of kings at the end of the great tribulation, I can see why He will make a new heaven & a new earth.

 

I agree with everything you've said. Christian Zionism in the U.S. is used by the "Christian Right" to justify their support for an immoral President and to increase our bloated military budget. Trump played to their weaknesses. But when he proclaimed himself to be "The Chosen One" and "The Second Coming" he stepped way over the line. That was blasphemy and the kind of thing I would expect from the AntiChrist. This goes hand-in-hand with the recognition of America as Babylon.

 

When the American people are only given a choice between the lesser of 2 evils on purpose... the Democrats in suppressing liberty with inclusion when it is nothing but Nationality of the LGBTQ in disguise, adding government spending for something conservatives do not want spent on, & the Republicans that serve covetousness as giving tax breaks for the rich without having done anything for America first to get that tax break ( like charity donations on tax forms for all tax payers ), it is no wonder both sides are fleecing America for all she got.

But I was surprised that Trump won the Republican debate to run for President. I had voted for him the first time & for his re-election as the lesser of 2 evils, but I often wonder if both sides are working together so we keep getting worse & worse because voting for the lesser of 2 evils has gone on long enough.

If Democrats wants tolerance, they have to stop enforcing inclusion by law & just let society set the trend. They need to stop paying for programs that not half of Americans would agree to in representing all of America when it is taking away revenues necessary for running this country.

If Republicans wants to be conservative, they cannot make money the primary drive in politics by blessing the covetous with tax breaks at the expense of government revenues in running this country.

Love thy neighbor as they self is the only way bi-partisan can happen, but as it is, the love of money is the root of all evil here.

I am paranoid to suspect that they are fleecing America for all she got per Covid 19 before the super volcano erupt at Yellowstone, sending the USA into a third world nation, & exposing it to foreign attacks. They can escape to some foreign countries where they are setting up lives for themselves or have already set up lives for themselves to survive. Trump has his tower in Arabia & Biden seem to be invested in business overseas as well. Our government did that to the Indians out of covetousness. The way businesses are being run by defrauders, it seems because our government led by example.

I think it is too late for America but believers should turn to Christ Jesus for help to turn away from sin to get ready for the Bridegroom if they want to avoid being left behind when destruction comes on Babylon USA & the entire western hemisphere..

 

What you're talking about is the tremendous increase in inequality in America. The Republican p-arty ever since Reagan has supported "trickle down economics" of voodoo economics as GHW Bush called it. Nothing has ever trickled down. Their tax policies have increased loopholes for the rich as well as their tax rates to the extent that many billionaires pay little of no taxes while the tax burden falls on everyone else. If you love your neighbor (or actually yourself if your income is primarily in wages or a salary) you would not support the Republican tax policy.

I don't. That is the lesser of 2 evils at every election which I do not like, but I have to go with the "covetous" Republicans rather than the "demoralizing" & "big spenders" Democrats.

If the Republicans just repeal all the tax breaks they had given to the rich by makin it obvious that it is trickling down by having it done the same way by how every tax payer get their tax deductions by proof of donations to charity, then that would be all right. If the whole point of giving tax breaks to the rich is to create more jobs then they need to prove they did that before getting that tax break.

Will Biden do that? I doubt it. He just takes it from the rich while adding more burdens to the government spending while we grow deeper into debts.

If the Democrats wants to be bi-partisan,

suspend all extra government spending programs when we are spending more for Covid 19 relief...they cannot act like USA is Superman when we are not... & in trouble like the rest of the world is..

repeal all the tax breaks given to the rich but provide tax breaks for them by proving they are using that money to create more jobs & not before... .thus the real trickling down...

All I can say is once the bank break & the value of the dollar is kaput, then all their covetousness will be for naught. American people might as well borrow billions of dollars with no collateral to cover it from the banks because hey.. our government can do it, why can't we? It will be good for the economy when we become big spenders as well. And yet common sense knows that is silly, but somehow our elected officials can't look beyond their Democratic/Republican dreams to approach reality first?

 

Deficits are created by doing one or both of two things, raising expenditures or reducing income. We have allowed the rich to get away with not paying their fair share of taxes as well as corporations to declare revenues in foreign countries or to exploit loopholes so they are also negligent in contributing to government income. Our bloated military budget is the highest in the world and greater than the total military budgets of the next 9 highest countries. We can't account for trillions of dollars spent by the Pentagon and there is collusion by the military industrial complex with the government which Eisenhower warned about. On the other hand, millions of Americans don't have acceptable medical insurance and are paid substandard wages which keep them below or near the poverty level. We will see graphic evidence of this after the restrictions on eviction / foreclosure are lifted currently set for the end of March. Families earning the median income can't afford a median priced apartment in the U. S. We need change to reverse the increasing inequality which was exacerbated by Reagan, both Bushes, and Trump. We are in a terrible economic situation and the manipulated stock market is feeding the situation. The chickens are coming home to roost and sooner rather than later.

 

In the UK - It's reported that Pfizer Re making $15 billion profit & various other organisations are profiting from the crisis - while the nurses & carers are receiving desperately low wages; many families are threatened with eviction as they can't pay their rent; children are living in poverty; food banks can't supply the needy; etc.

A country comprises all its people, not just its balance of payments & military power.

I take pause about our government because of this;

George Bush JR had the majority of elected republicans officials to have the opportunity to get the line item veto but did not.

Clinton had the opportunity to remove the tax breaks given to the rich by the Reagan era but did not.

The government during George Bush Jr faced the problem of bailing out the banks.. where transparency & some legal agreement that the banks will not do the things that got them in trouble in the first place was dropped before passing but under Obama, it passed the bill without the stipulation of transparency & lacking the agreement not to do those things that got the banks in trouble in the first place.

Our government under Obama assured that no homes will be foreclosed but reading my local papers, there were a lot of homes up for auction due to foreclosure and at various times too.

Both sides, the National News media reported the fleecing of America so... the fault of excess military spending will have to fall on both sides just as the pork for extra spending goes on both sides.

It is obvious to me that our government is playing the American people, testing how far they can get away with. Like little children with the attitude of like taking candy from a baby, I see both sides working towards that end.

Now Biden engages extra spending in pursuit of the Democratic dream in the middle of a pandemic that is not over yet &new strain variants are appearing in USA but we are thinking about lifting restrictions for kids to go back to school as well as automatically cancel mail in votes unless renewed in Pennsylvania for sure & mayhap elsewhere too?

Was it not our government that reneged on treaties with the American Indians & sanction wiping them out with a contagious disease? Does the Georgia Guidestones gives any one pause & why hasn't that been removed first since the people behind it are worse than that fictional Thanos from the Marvel Cinematic Universe? What if the people behind the Georgia Guidestones are responsible for the Covid 19 in doing the same thing to not only the American people but first to other parts of the world? How can anyone see Biden being on top of Sars & that other one during Obama administration, not care for the American people in stepping up to inform & offer instructions to Trump unless the CDC was the one that fumbled the football?

How is it that during this pandemic that Black Lives Matter also protested in Europe? How is it that Black Lives Matter.Org is teaching transgenderism? Why is it that Human Rights Organization made it a point to defend the rights of homosexuals at risk of being executed for being homosexuals in other countries ( which we all support generally ) but are helping in attacking conservatives in this country politically? Why did World Health Organization dropped transgenderism as a metal illness politically? Why are we taking our lead from W.H.O. instead of the CDC? Did the WHO failed us on purpose? Why weren't the measures for SARS in place to prevent the spread but not in place for Covid 19 when it has been in other countries as spreading months before it came to ours? Is this an undeclared war by the LGBTQ for losing support because they did not get away with bullying Scarlett Johannsson in social media or by the Jesuits Illuminati of the Georgia Guidestones planted in those organizations at work in keeping their Jesuit oath to create chaos in society & civilization & even Protestant churches?

Why did Trump with held about Covid 19 being contagious by air as explained in his book & yet he did not lead by example by that knowledge publicly? He did not act like it was scary stuff for not wearing a mask in public. is it not strange how they came up with the vaccine that quickly & not by a normal way of making a vaccine too like they do for flus?

All of this makes me think about how our government almost wiped out the American Indians. Pike, a member of the Illuminati, seemingly stated that they were responsible for the Civil War; was it to reduce the population out of covetousness too? Is our government officials being led by Jesuit mentalists, tempting them to do that or are some of our elected officials are Jesuits/ Freemasons members?

In the eyes of the Lord, the love of money is the root of all evil. So no matter who gets elected, the American Christians should have been praying for our elected leaders because God is able to lead them to do the right thing and or restrain them or put off from doing the wrong thing. I place my trust in the Lord to take care of our country better than our elected officials, but it could very well be the Lord is allowing iniquity to flourish because they love money more than Him & a lot of people are behaving in the same way in defrauding one another too, including those who profess Him as Christians.

I agree. America's safety net for its citizens has been severely tested by the pandemic and found to be inadequate. Our medical services system which is the only one in developed countries which relies on for-profit insurance companies does not meet the needs of a large portion of our citizens. Front line health workers are underprotected from the pandemic, overworked and underpaid. Wages for the vanishing middle class are flat but the upper 0.1% is thriving. The median wage-earner can't afford the median priced apartment. This goes on and on. We need to target inequality and do something about it.
