    I think that you have problems reading! I am responding to AustinC who says that "God ordained the willful rebellion of Satan and the fallen angels". Get your facts right before posting more foolish remarks!

    It is very clear from Calvin's comments on John 3:16, that he says that the "whoever" is not to be restricted to "the elect", but is for "everyone without exception", which is the same as saying, "every human being". If he says something else in his other works, then it is clear that he was a confused person!

    Not the point, you cannot get away from the fact that Jesus Christ, God Incarnate, gave Judas the bread and wine, which represents His Body and Blood on the cross, and also tells Judas, ""This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for YOU". Unless you think that Jesus was mistaken, or not being honest!
