Interesting that the gospel to you would be bogus!Yet another bogus claim, devoid of references, and certainly aimed at changing the subject from the verses cited.

This single passage destroys all of his theories. What a joke. This poster said he would present his interpretation of the listed verse (James 2:5) and then makes a bogus claim about a different verse. Trying to discuss biblical doctrine with Calvinists is a waste of time. See post 89.![]()
But what if "Calvie" was right? What does this make you?One trick ponies only know their one trick and so they repeat it.
You did not believe in a saving sense!
This single passage destroys all of his theories.
But what if "Calvie" was right?
What if he was right along with Luther and the Reformers about the absence of free will in salvation?like on the Death of Jesus for the entire human race?![]()

They must believe that Jesus is God, yes!do you think that when we witness to the unsaved, and they show an interest in getting saved, that before they can get saved, they must believe in the Holy Trinity, or even in the Deity of Jesus and the Holy Spirit?
There is "free will", but not in the absolute sense many ascribe it as being! What if he was right along with Luther and the Reformers about the absence of free will in salvation?
Free only to sin unless born-again.There is "free will", but not in the absolute sense many ascribe it as being!
World = kosmos = new heavens and earth populated by whoever believes.can anyone really believe this and John 3:16 as the Universal Death of Jesus?
Free to do what was desired, but sin natures are limited in what can and is desired!Free only to sin unless born-again.

No that is not what I said at all. What I said was, those verses have nothing o do with the topic we are actually discussing. But since you want to force the issue, the verses are clearly talking about God not taking one nation over another. All people groups will be included in the Kingdom. It has nothing to do with individuals in those two verses.which basically means, that you cannot answer what Peter says in Acts 10:34-35. Fair enough.
Can a sinner be saved who does not call Jesus their Lord and God then?Did Peter tell the 3000 who were "cut to the heart" in Acts 2, this? Did Peter tell Cornelius this in chapter 10? or Ananias to Paul in chapter 9?
