    Some say "only one race"
others say a minimum of three White, Black, yellow

Don't know about races, maybe divisions, because we all go back to the three sons of Noah.

Map of the Origin of Nations in Genesis 10 (Bible History Online) (bible-history.com)
"...Shem, Ham, and Japheth...The sons of Noah were Shem, Ham, and Japheth... these three sons of Noah represented the three great races of mankind. The above map shows a table of God's dispersion of the nation's after they migrated from the Tower at Babel...."

I've always said only one race - the human race. But there are varying ethnicities.

It really depends on how you define race.

I suppose it depends on WHICH definition of race you use!
And there appears to be more definitions of race - then there are allege races!:Thumbsdown

    Mr. Webster states:
    Definition of RACE

if skin color is a determining factor of race, why don't we look at what is under that skin?

... seeing he giveth to all life,
    and breath,
    and all things;
    And hath made
    of one blood
    all nations of men
    for to dwell
on all the face of the earth,
    Acts 17:25b-26a

Actually, there are FIVE-White, Black, Yellow, Golden-Tan(American Indians, Mongolians, etc.) & Australian Aborigine.

They might more-accurately be called BREEDS, just as different breeds of dogs are much-more-different from each other than any people are, but they're still dogs, canis lupus familiaris. as all people are homo sapiens. Any dog of any breed can make puppies with any other breed if physically possible, just as any person of any race can reproduce with any other human race.

The differences in people is mainly CULTURE & APPEARANCE. Internally, all people are the same, except for gender-specific organs.

We are MUCH-more alike than our canine buddies are! I'd like to see 'race' replaced with 'breed' for people !

Robycop3's different "Breeds", he's attributed to a post-Flood Creation of several non-Noahic humans who then married Noah's grandchildren.
    Weird stuff:

I think a lot of it depends on how you define race.

Can YOU prove otherwise? Main thing I know about that situation is that INCEST IS AN ABOMINATION TO GOD ! Scripture does not say where Cain's wife or Noah's grandchildrens' wives came from, and the only FACT we have is that incest is an abomination to God. We see Abe married his half-sis, but that's as far as we know God allowed it.

If there are no races, then there can be no such thing as racism. Right?

This would be correct. However, humans have created separation by virtue of skin color and thus created a caste system out of the designation. It's much like the Indian caste system from Brahmans down to deplorables. Both are godless and wicked forms of prideful separation.

    Yet there are differences:
It has long been known that blood transfusions and organ transplants work best between people of the same race. Until the Second World War, stocks of blood were routinely segregated by race for this reason. Classification by race was ended when it was discovered to be “racist,” but blood banks are re-instituting segregation.

The distribution of the common blood types is different from race to race, and some rare types are unique to certain races. Only blacks have U negative blood; only whites have Vel negative or Lan negative blood. Dr. W. Laurence Marsh of the New York Blood Center justifies racial classification: “It makes no sense to screen 100,000 whites for U negative when no U negative white person has ever been found.”

Kidneys and other organs are classified by race for similar reasons. About 20 percent of blacks are so genetically incompatible with whites that they reject organs from all white donors.

When I first arrived in Nam as a Navy corpsman, a dr. had us cut open & dissect dead enemies to learn actual anatomy, as they had the same internal parts as Americans.

But there are certain physical things all humans share. And again, we should check out a few things about dogs. Different dog breeds are very-different in temperament and ability to live in given environments, as well as in size & appearance. All breeds of people are much-more-alike than are breeds of dogs. But any dog can mate with any other dog of the opposite gender if physically possible. Same with people!

But GOD wants us to know salvation is open to ALL! Thus, the Holy Spirit brought the apostle Philip to the Ethiopian official. And we see Jesus preaching to a Samaritan woman. (Samaritans were the people the Jews despised the most, followed by Greex, then, Romans.) and also likely saving the Canaanite woman who touched His clothes & was healed. He also saved several Romans as well. Paul preached to many Greex & led them to Jesus. Thus, I believe God's message is loud-n-clear that salvation is open to ANYONE, regardless of race or past sins.

LGBTQs? Remember what Jesus told several people He saved: GO & SIN NO MORE!" While He doesn't always "cure" such a person who become saved, that person won't be practicing perversions any more. I can't speak for a TG, as I've never wanted to be a woman & don't know how such a person feels. But GOD does, & I believe if one is truly saved, that one will let Him direct one's actions.
