Preterists lump all anti-preterism with dispies, as part of the false pret doctrines. One heresy begets another. If I reject dispensationalism and the chronological gaps that are clearly and repeatedly revealed in the scriptures, then I would be forced to spiritualize most eschatology.
If I maintain Roman Catholic replacement theology, then I must end up with Roman Catholic amillennialism.
The coming literal, physical, geo-political Jewish millennial kingdom of Jesus Christ from the throne of David in Zion over planet earth is the #1 subject of the Bible. There are more verses about that almost any other 3 subjects combined.
If you understand the Covenant nature of salvation, and what happened at the fall, you would come to understand the blessing of biblical election which is as much a mystery to you as eschatology is to th OP.more speculation, like your "election" stuff!
The genre of “apocalyptic” literature is full of symbolism by its nature. It is an aspect of that genre that scholars have acknowledged for centuries......
You claim that the 144 thousand in Revelation is symbolic. How do you know that is true?
What happened to Dan and Ephraim? No, only 36K of them will be Jews-those of Judah, Benjamin, & Levi. The rest will be Israelis of the other tribes.

Explain the Isa.13 and Isa34 passages for us, we will see who has all the poppycockNo, those will be future literal events. Preterism is poppycock.
This is ridiculous, if you are asserting that the Israelites could not count to a thousand. Many times, the Israelites numbered the people in the census and counted large numbers to a level much smaller than a thousand. For example,The genre of “apocalyptic” literature is full of symbolism by its nature. It is an aspect of that genre that scholars have acknowledged for centuries.
Concerning the 144000, it is clearly symbolic. It is found in Rev 7 and refers to the number of the “Sons of Israel” that have been sealed. Each tribe has 12,000 that are sealed. 12 tribes of 12,000 equals 144,000.
The number 1000 is considered a very large number too large to count in Hebrew culture. This number cannot be taken literally.
Peace to you
What happened to Dan and Ephraim?
The gospel is freely offered to all. Using the word whosoever does not change a thing. The wonderful Gospel is for WHOSOEVER nothing more nothing less. Theology has corrupted this Bible Truth
The gospel is freely offered to all
Symbolism running amok tells us that those were neither actual numbers nor really Jewish people, but refers to saved Christians? This is ridiculous, if you are asserting that the Israelites could not count to a thousand. Many times, the Israelites numbered the people in the census and counted large numbers to a level much smaller than a thousand. For example,
Num. 26:51 These were the numbered of the children of Israel, six hundred thousand and a thousand seven hundred and thirty.
The Israelites were not some kind of "primitive stone-age Neanderthals" who could not count to a 1000.
Scripture does not reveal that there is a so-called genre named "apocalyptic" that is "full of symbolism by its nature." The so-called scholars who espouse that notion incorporate their biases into their teachings.
The poster has heard one view. He most likely is not certain of any other.
He should learn how others come to a different understanding first before attacking other positions
He starts threads hoping others can bail him out.
If the water gets to deep, he opts out and goes back to the kiddie pool.
He then suggests that all others need not apply.
This is not the best way to go about it, but he is "more accurate ".
Pure rubbish.what exactly is this Good News, that is "offered" to all?. that only a very small number will be saved, and the greater majority will sadly end up in eternal punishment? Would you tell anyone that you have Good News for them, that they are probably going to hell, because Jesus Christ probably did not die for them? If not, why not, as this is your Gospel!

Start a new thread on this topic and we will show you why.
So God is wrong to judge those who demand to not have Jesus save them from their sins?what exactly is this Good News, that is "offered" to all?. that only a very small number will be saved, and the greater majority will sadly end up in eternal punishment?
