You say Daniel was a false prophet. That the kingdom did not arrive with Jesus in the times of the ancient Roman Empire.

This proves the millennium is false. Because flesh and blood cannot enter it if it is the kingdom as you say.

He could simply do business in another state. He wasn't killed for his stand.

Spiritually? Yes. You are stuck with the Pharisee's letter that kills.

Not the PHYSICAL, EARTHLY kingdom. We are now citizens-elect of that kingdom. We will be PHYSICALLY in it when the time comes.

The FULL realization of that kingdom won't be til after God redoes the earth's surface & the New Jerusalem comes down.

You simply don't believe Scripture. And you call yourself a Baptist while not believing God's word, except the parts you like? And making up new meanings for other parts of it ?

    @1689Dave :

In the words of Huck Finn (mostly), "You can't learn a [dispy] to argue, so I quit."

Hint: it is what scripture means by what it says. You are missing the meaning by ignoring the writing style.

It happens at the resurrection and rapture on the last day. And during the re-creation of the universe. If there is a millennium then you know when it will happen which scripture denies.

Flesh and blood cannot see or enter the kingdom.

Scripture doesn't get hard to understand until you take someone else's word for it. The reason you don't understand is because When McAuthor says go ahead and take the mark you'll believe him. People who make it allegorical, never understand it. They don't even come close. They don't really believe the Bible. They believe in fairy tales.

Another lame excuse. Scripture says what it says.
You simply don't believe Scripture. Your credibility's shot.

Then you're not a citizen-elect of it now? (Your failure to believe several Scriptures makes me wonder about that, anyway!)

"Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.
For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled". (Mat 5:17-18)

This includes Jeremiah ch 31 and Ezekiel ch 36 and many other passages of Scripture that you personally don't care for. Jehovah keeps His promises. If he doesn't, we are all in big trouble.

Apparently, he doesn't care much for the Revelation, either.

The behavior of the Palestinians, with their obsession to possess Jerusalem and the Temple Mount, makes them the likely candidates to be Esau/Edom.

Their behavior is consistent with a homicidal jealous brother.

Nobody wants the new Temple built on the Temple Mount more than the Antichrist. He lusts to sit in Christ's place. He needs the Jews to build it, which they are prepared to do.

Hence world politics bust be, temporarily, exactly opposite of what they are today. Currently no one politically supports the building of a new Temple on the Temple Mount.

Therefore, a major event must occur to flip the world political situation. The only thing prophecied that would flip the world political scene is Ezekiel's chapters 38 and 39 war.

If we go with your interpretation, then the most you can say is that the devil and the false prophet will be tormented forever. No human is the devil, and I don't know if the false prophet is one person or many in your way of thinking, but those are the ones who will be tormented. The tares in the parable of Jesus were not tormented in the furnace. The fish in the parable of Jesus were not tormented forever in the furnace. I don't think you are making the point you assume you are making. And you are the one doing the "wishful thinking." I'm dealing with the scripture.
