Where does it specify that it's a literal physical sea of literal physical water and that it's the Mediterranean Sea?

Read Josephus, Wars Of The Jews. Educate yourself instead of asking these silly questions. The whole known world suffered a period of 'tumult' during this time.

Please tell me how you can construe plain time statements such as 'the time is at hand, 'must shortly come to pass', 'I come quickly', 'in just a very little while', 'shall in no wise taste of death', 'this generation shall not pass away', etc., etc., to mean 'thousands of years and still waiting'.

Rev 12 ... Israel
Rev 17 ... the false church (prob lead by the RCC)

but how does this mean it will never happen again after 70AD? It happened 657 years prior to this event with Titus. Why wouldn't it happen again ... especially since Israel has (recently) become a nation again. Jeremiah said he saw chariots in a whirlwind. What could have manifested that in 70AD?

well .... I'm not losing sleep over it. I sleep quite well, but surely if the apparatus which was applied to the forehead or the hand ... would be a historical fact if all prophesy was fulfilled by 70AD.

Is it inconceivable this has yet to happen? Did an angel appear and tell identify the mark? Rev 14 says that will happen.

The Great Sea ... is known as the Mediterranean. I suppose it could be a reference to something else, but there should be reason to understand that phrase is NOT the Med as it is in the Pauline epistles, dated before John's last writing.

thank you for the reprimand. I shall put that on the reading list for greater understanding, but if able, an aid to knowing the scope of the disaster would be helpful in this ... the known world in 70AD had greater evil than than the world in 2021 to ... say ... 2027 can experience?

because the 7th beast had yet to be revealed ... let alone the 8th. All the world knew at that point was through the Roman empire ... not the one on which the sun never set. That seems sufficient to be relevant in the scope of kingdoms.

If 70 AD fulfilled all prophesy, how was 70 AD like the Days of Noah? Are there any characterizations of the Days of Noah which the "Days of 70AD" lacked?

I don't know exactly what is happening in your Ez 9 reference, but I don't see it as part of the confirmed covenant with many for "one week." Seems like a real stretch.

Your passage raises an angel marking folks for judgment and it's worth studying but I'm not convinced it's the same topic.
