But He knows our hearts. You promote herd immunity (death and misery). I promote compassion and relief for the weak you turn a blind eye to.

    MODERATOR'S NOTE:

While I did take the vaccine myself and do not hold that "clinging to Christ" and medical care are mutually exclusive, I cannot find any posts on this thread where Aaron is actively pushing the hope of the deaths of people.

I am therefore cleaning this thread up a bit. Be careful folks. This is a very touchy topic. It strikes the nerves of the religious folk and the political folk.

He is for herd immunity. Do you understand what that means?

Yes, Dave. Herd immunity is when a disease spreads more slowly in a population because a large part has either had the disease and survived with natural immunities or else they have been vaccinated against it and have medical immunities.

SO MANY people have died from this. Some people on this board don't really know of any. Some of us know of SCORES and SCORES of a variety of ages. Here in Louisiana, it has devestated countless families.

Herd immunity doesn't mean to just let people die off.

It is Evolution theory Christians have no grounds for believing. In this case, it's the unvaccinated survival of the fittest. It means turning a blind eye to the weak and impaired. Let them suffer and die.

That's baloney. Herd immunity is the goal of a vaccination program. Well—it was before Fauci et al got their talons into it, and changed the definitions. And vaccination is only one mechanism of immunity. Another obvious mechanism is organic exposure to the pathogen. Vaccination with diseases like the cold and flu, and covid is a cold, is intended to supplement other mechanisms to get a population to herd immunity more quickly.

Where infection is essentially harmless, and covid is essentially harmless to the vast majority of the population, allowing it to spread among those with low risk of death or severe symptoms, is a legitimate, scientific and medical approach to herd immunity.

Once herd immunity is reached, it doesn't mean that the cold or flu goes away. It means that the immune members of the population act as a buffer, stabilizing the infection rate, and protecting the vulnerable.

Better than you unless the vax is updated. You watch the interview with Moderna CEO about vax effectiveness against Omicron and future variants? Watch it if you can find it. It disappears about as soon as it comes up on Social.

We still have evidence you are not safe with the new variants. As Han Solo told Luke, "don't get cocky kid".

And neither do I. I'm basically throwing Dave's words back at him to answer his hypocrisy.

I agree. Research shows having immunity to the entire virus vs having immunity to a spike protein which has now significantly mutated, is much better.

Basically the study shows Moderna is not as effective as with previous varients against preventing infection, but is very effective against serious illness from the virus.

Also, "natural immunity" from a previous infection provides little, if any, protection against infection or serious illness.

The conclusion demonstrates the effectiveness of the Moderna vaccine against becoming seriously ill with the virus and the ineffectiveness of "natural immunity" acquired by previous varients.

No. It is actually science. I am not quite sure why you guys want the vaccines not to work so bad you reject science, reject evidence, and make up "facts". But I suppose there are people like this on both "sides". The mentality just does not make sense to me.

We know "natural immunity" is ineffective against varients (@Reynolds explained to you that he had covid that was mild - he said like a cold - and later hot the Delta varient which was "much worse"). And we know vaccines are effective against serious illnesses caused by covid and the known varients.

Too many are like "flat-earthers". They deny science for no reason but that they want science to be wrong...even when it benefits mankind.

No, your comment is anti-science. Natural immunity based on those who recovered from covid provides better and longer lasting protection against reinfection from the virus or it’s variants.

And just to be clear, accusing me of “not wanting the vaccine to work” is a slanderous falsehood. I know it works. Ive been vaccinated. I believe the science for the vaccines and for natural immunity.

That puts me on the side of believing the science and you on the side of flat earth believers.

I’ll leave you to your usual anti-science diatribe.

    peace to you

Many have already had covid multiple times (many 3 times). And those who have had covid a second and third time are not experiencing milder cases.

Although effectiveness against infection decreases, with varients the vaccines have proven to provide protection against serious illness. But "natural immunity" has not.

These are facts. These facts come from scientific studies.

You tend to express your disappointment that the vaccines have been proven effective against the sars-cov-2 virus and present varients by denying facts. This is strange.

Do you believe the sars-cov-2 virus exists? If so, do you believe the virus a Freemason or New World conspiracy?

I'm certain some one here can show me how this study is to be labeled as something pejorative ... the editor of this periodical is a quack from UTSouthwestern ... so that's probably it.

but published in November (I just saw it) ...

"We conclude that the mRNA vacs dramatically increase inflammation on the endothelium and T cell infiltration of cardiac muscle and may account for the observations of increased thrombosis, cardiomyopathy, and other vascular events following vaccination."

Abstract 10712: Mrna COVID Vaccines Dramatically Increase Endothelial Inflammatory Markers and ACS Risk as Measured by the PULS Cardiac Test: a Warning

Europe recognizes natural immunity as effective. They treat it as fully vaccinated.

Must all be from a quack. Anything that favors the Covid shots is "science". Anything that is negative against the shots is quackery or anecdotal evidence.
