    Exodus 33:7
    Now Moses used to take the tent and pitch it outside the camp, a good distance from the camp, and he called it the tent of meeting. And everyone who sought the LORD would go out to the tent of meeting which was outside the camp.

    He also searched for Ahaziah, and they caught him while he was hiding in Samaria; they brought him to Jehu, put him to death, and buried him. For they said, “He is the son of Jehoshaphat, who sought the LORD with all his heart.” So there was no one of the house of Ahaziah to retain the power of the kingdom.

    He continued to seek God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding through the vision of God; and as long as he sought the LORD, God made him successful.

    Those who seek the Lord do so because they have been converted by God. Not because out of nowhere they sought God on their own volition.

    More off topic deflection, more of the same. But were the many verses teaching OT saints sought God addressed. Nope.

    [HATE SPEECH AGAINST ANOTHER BELIEVER ERASED instead of simply posting a response]

    Had they been "regenerated" before Christ died? Nope, for all those born anew follow Christ as He is the first born of all the born anew creation.

    More than a half dozen verses teach the OT saints sought God without being regenerated. And what has been the response? Taint so, a denial of scripture. Or "they had been converted" (regenerated). But since Christ was in Heaven, and they had not ascended to Heaven, they had not been made alive together with Christ. On and on folks, Calvinism is not just false doctrine, it is obviously false and unbiblical doctrine.

    More utter nonsense, as if they were saints before being chosen individually?

    They actually do answer the OP, though it is clear the OP cannot see the connection.
    Second, the people who sought, in the OT, did so for the very same reasons people look to God today. They were chosen by God, before the foundation of the world.

    Van, you have been shown your error so many times, yet you keep trying different pathways to present the same failed theory of corporate election and God reviewing a person's faith before God declares it righteous.

    Many here have rebuked your wrong theology. You have twisted to try blame a boogeyman of your own making (Calvinists) and even attempted to call on an imaginary "folks" as though you didn't stand alone. The fact is...you are wrong and your pride will not concede this fact.

    There is nothing more to tell you.

    Let me ask you this Van, before Christ, how were people saved?

    Roman’s 3

    None is righteous, no, not one;
    11 no one understands;
    no one seeks for God.
    12 All have turned aside; together they have become worthless;
    no one does good,
    not even one.”

    Once more denial of scriptural truth, with no argument.

    Asked and answered dozens of times.

    1) Did people in the OT seek God? Yes.
    2) Did some obtain approval by faith? Yes
    3) Were any made perfect before Christ died? Nope

    No matter how many subject changes are posted, the OP presents truth.
    No one ever seeks God is a false interpretation of scripture, creating conflict with all the verses indicating both those saved and those not saved sought God.

    1. Yes, the elect were changed and sought God.
    2. No, they did not get approval by faith. Their faith was the sign of their approval.
    3. Relevance?

    You still have not said how they were saved before Christ. You dodged.

    You realize I provided ample scripture in this thread. At this point you are bloviating.

    "Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." ( John 3:3 ).

    " And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven." (Matthew 8:11).

    " There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you [yourselves] thrust out." ( Luke 13:28 ).

    Scripture is plain...
    No one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.

    Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, as well as all of the prophets, are in the kingdom...
    They were born again.

    Matthew 8:11-12
    “And I say to you that many will come from east and west, and recline at the table with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven; but the sons of the kingdom will be thrown out into the outer darkness; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

    Here a poster apparently this verse somehow supported the idea that OT Saints entered the "Kingdom of Heaven" before Christ died. This assertion is false. Jesus is speaking during His lifetime, before He died. And so the tense of the phrase "many will come" is future. Christ's actual message is that many Gentiles will join the patriarchs in heaven, but some of the Jews will be thrown into outer darkness.

    Similarly, in Luke 13:28, Jesus is referring to a place outside the Kingdom of Heaven, where in the future, they will see those in the Kingdom while they themselves are being cast out.

    Thus neither verse support the bogus view, but both actually teach nobody entered the kingdom before Christ died.
