Nope, you haven't. You go to about 3-5 verses, take them out of context and assert something that keeps getting shown to be an error on your part.

Everyone can make their own decision. At present you are lonesome...and you know it.

Um, you contradict yourself in this post. If you are chosen before the foundation of the earth, that is before rebirth.

God loved the world by sending His Son that whoever believes in Him will have everlasting life. Jesus committed no sin. But men esteemed Him as afflicted by God. He was abused. He did not return the abuse but put His trust in God and God's righteousness. Jesus bore our sins in His body on the Cross, He became a curse for us. The reason was so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. The cross was God reconciling man to Himself. Man is reconciled to God through Christ's death and men are saved through His life. Our salvation is God's righteousness manifested apart from the law. Men must be born again, made new creations, dead to the flesh and born of the Spirit. God is just and the justifier of sinners.

I do not seek to join a sect. That is how we are different.

I share the faith of the majority of Christians, bound in the Blood of Christ. That is enough for me.

You hold a fairly new belief, one that has been around for centuries but young in comparison to traditional Christianity.

I hope you find comfort in your Reformed books and confessions. It is an interesting and rich albeit short, history. More than that I hope the gospel shines through your error just enough that others may see Christ.

This is demonstrably false. Read Foundations and Pillars of Grace.

    [Let the readers decide.

Here is what I believe, the "foolishness", the "new philosophy" which led you to persecute me and others who dare disagree with your philosophy:]
    You are not persecuted.
You received answers that you did not like.
    The answers were scripture.
MM. Corrected you, post after post. He offered help. You need to read his posts again.

Now you know that is untrue. You just do not like that fact that people do not agree with your view. We have shown you the errors in your theology and all you do is say, no don't agree. Evan the quotes you do don't work for you, but you will keep trying I am sure.

Reformed I do expect better reading skills from you than what you are showing. JonC said "You can say" not I can say. All the calvinists say elect before but that in not biblical unless you forget all the rest of the bible, which seems to be common for the calvinist.

Who's the author? No need to tell me, I did a search on google. the first line I saw

"The doctrines of grace are often known as the five points of Calvinism,"

If I wanted to read a calvinist book then I would do that. If you have an unbiased book then OK.

Iconoclast if you want help understanding the text of scripture, all you need to do is ask. Many of us have tried to point out the errors we see in your theology but it seems to have fallen on deaf ears. But we do keep trying.

Silverhair you have never, to my knowledge, show a propensity to review a passage in its context. You have picked a verse here or there.

Now there is an unbiased author. Calvinist thru and thru. What do you think he is going to say?

Why because I do not post 30 verses and then bold t 3 or 4 words like some on here. I do expect atleast some smarts from people on here. The verses do not disagree with the point that I am trying to make. That is something that you seem to miss far to often.

Do not say that but if I am going to read something that you want to show me how Christianity developed over time I do not need to read it from a staunch calvinist. What point of view do you think he would present?

You think one Christian offering to help another Christian understand the bible is funny. Austin you have some serious growing up to do?

What point is that? That I do not want calvinist indoctrination. You may want to follow that herd but I do not. I will just trust the bible, it has kept me in good stead up til now and it will continue to do so.

What is this mythical calvinist indoctrination?
Is it the verses on election that I shared with you?
Is it the six pages of verses on predestination and chosen that I shared with you?
Is it the context of 2 Peter 3 or 1 Timothy 2? I wonder what part of God's word is indoctrination that you dislike?
