Adam did choose to sin. And God pronounced the curse, which is physical death.Adam chose to sin, and then he died spiritually and physical
Where do you get the idea that Adam was created with spiritual life and then died spiritually? Where do you get the idea that, other than Adam's eyes being opened, Adam experienced a change in his nature? Where do you get the idea of a "sin nature"?
These passages disprove your ideas (please take the time to read God's Words here):
You say: Adam died spiritually and then physically.
But God says: Hebrews 9:27. And inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment,
You say: The result of Adam's sin was spiritual death.
But God says: Genesis 3:19 For you are dust, and to dust you shall return.
You say: Adam was created spiritual.
But God says:. 1 Corinthians 15:45–47 So also it is written, “The first man, Adam, became a living soul.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit. However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural; then the spiritual. The first man is from the earth, earthy; the second man is from heaven.
You and God are saying VERY different things.
Why should we believe you over God?
