Saw them already and since I do not agree with the hyper calvinist view of the author. If you want to follow a man that is your choice but I do not and that is why I disagree with what you say. Your view of God is not biblical.

Your right the dead can not sin or respond to a call. That is why the ones that hear the gospel are not "calvinist" dead but they are spiritually dead as in separated from God. Man can hear and respond to the gospel and if they trust in Christ Jesus then God makes them spiritually alive.

With your deterministic God He is the one the determines all things or do we have that wrong? Perhaps He only determines some things which means that man has a free will to actually determine whether he will sin or not or whether he will trust in Christ Jesus or not.

To paraphrase a quote of Dr. Carson in the preface to Robert Haldane's Commentary on Romans - and this applies to both you and @Silverhair:

Your criticisms are arbitrary, forced, and in the highest degree fantastical. Your learning might be boundless, yet your criticism is mere trash.

What you are saying is that God knows evil is going to happen and yet does NOTHING to stop it. You, sir, have an unBiblical view of the Bible(and, yes, I capitalize the word Bible; it is puzzling why you do not).

You do realize Ken that you are just swimming against the tide. You say on one hand that God determines all things and on the other that He does not because that would make Him the one that is the cause of all the evil in the world. The bible disagrees with your errant view but you are determined to hold on to that view no matter what. God loves His creation and actually desires that all be saved but will not force that on them so He has given man a free will so that they can do what the bible say. Hear and believe unto salvation or reject unto condemnation.

God does not stop it because He has given man a free will. Do you think putting a capital on bible really makes a difference?

Another thing, your version of God does nothing to stop all those people going to hell, OH right He doesn't stop it because He is the one sending them there for sins that He made them commit. That's your version of a just God but not the biblical one.

Well to quote me “attacking those with whom you disagree with while assigning motives you cannot know is not only bearing false witness but juvenile.”

Your post, carson, nor yourself can know why people reject your doctrine. Attacking them only shows the weakness of your position as well as pride and arrogance. The entire post of yours is a pejorative in nature.

Further more its is easily defeated hence the sophomoric nature. Specifically since God sovereignly chose to have man respond through his consideration of the gospel as the means to obtain salvation then it doesn't negatively effect His sovereignty.

Your [snip] argument is now defeated. God bless.

You have a circular argument that ultimately denies God's sovereignty. Do you see it?

Fallen man is always attacking the revealed truth of God in the Bible. So I certainly hope that I am swimming against the tide of folks like you who deny the revealed truth of God in the Bible.

I see you can only post other peoples arguments. Based on this post you have none of your own. Lends to the idea that you have not done your own study you just post other peoples vitriolic junk.

If God had not elected some, "a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues" (Revelation 7:9), then every person would be lost.

Better to study what men who faithfully teach God's Word have written or said, than to follow after people like you with your supposedly "orginal" thoughts.

If you were actually posting the revealed truth of the bible would not be disagreeing with you. What you are posting is your errant philosophy called calvinism. Your view most calvinists do not even agree with.

Those that trust in the risen Lord are the elect not your chosen before the foundation of the world ones. You abuse the bible and disagree with scripture. The verse you reference does not say as you seem to think that is just the picked out ones of calvinism. It actually points to those that have trusted in Christ Jesus but does not specify why or how. It could be your view, although that would not be biblical, or it could be because they heard and trusted the gospel message and God by His grace saved them because they believed in His son, which is biblical.

Better to trust in what the bible teaches rather than trust in some man to tell you what he thinks the bible says.

Those that trust in the risen Lord are those who were elect before the foundation of the world. They are one and the same.
