I don’t like them… bunch of pot heads, but there is Led Zeppelin, Genesis ( with Peter Gabriel), oh and Pink Floyd … how do I forget that! Jim Morrison & the Doors farther back but they made great music. That was the LSD years.

There is an owl in a tree around here hooting… is that a good omen or a bad one?

Bad. There's something wrong with an owl that hoots at 4 o'clock in the afternoon.

You don’t really want a Yankee moving there. Although I do have a last name that might be to your liking

Tell me 1st, where can I get a Colt Peacemaker Working order… Pearl handle or Ivory preferred. I’m in the hunt.

Taken from Wiki: Older nineteenth century Model 1873s and Peacemakers are highly prized by collectors. Although extremely dated and obsolete, Colt still produces new copies of the Single Action Army for the modern market.

Help me out here, moderators. I'm happy to keep slapping him down, as he does follow me around. He just doesn't seem to get it though, and I feel kind of bad about that.

What is your threshold for "smaller"? Here in Northern New England, it's probably <50-100 on Sunday morning. In the Bible Belt, maybe 10+ times that.

Honestly I’m looking for a retirement someplace warmer as I am arthritic. But to answer your question, 20 people tops and that’s Reformed type churches. As sited before, you can’t find Regular Baptists churches anymore. There is a Methodist church nearby but they are looney tunes.
Now if you want to talk Roman Catholic, there are 7 churches in a 5 mile radius.

It's the opposite around here. We have a few Catholic churches, some Presbyterian and Methodist churches, but most are Baptist.

If you renounce all it is to be Yankee I'll put in a good word for you. :Biggrin

You probably Should ask Jon the moderator his opinion of small churches. You probably have to average it out depending upon where you’re located.

Good grief, you're taking this (or yourself) waaaay too seriously. Relax, I'll back off jesting with you.

Skins were a lot thicker a few years back on the BB, not so now.

And, I was on this thread before you. Are you following me?

Thanks. The reason I asked is because we have family serving in a "Bible Church" in SNJ that is 100% baptistic, but the name has been unchanged since the work was founded in 1865. I would refer to it as "high-end medium" in size, perhaps 200 for a typical Sunday morning.
