He has spoken the truth about the 1611 KJV and reformation Bibles and New Versions like the NKJV.

Hmm. Cite a specific untrue statement he had made and quote said Scripture it contradicts.

Maybe so. Maybe he is right that God had nothing to do with the KJV and and reformation Bibles and new versions like the NKJV. He has not attempted to give the mind of God on Bible translating that proves his opinions are true and biblical. All we know at this point is what opinions he does not believe.

I will start a thread in the translation forum where we can get some clarity on the subject. I hope you will participate.

You quote a statement he has made and quote the scripture that supports it.

I should do this because you cannot support your claim?

He has never implied that whatsoever. That is a mistaken perception on your part. An untruth.

His argument is broader than KJV only. His argument is against the providential preservation of perfection in a translation. This would include any translation into any language. This puts him into the position of arguing for all man made translations and paraphrases as having no authority of God and God himself being careless and unconcerned about their production.

it is the elevation of worldly wisdom in my view.

Again, you have wrongly interpreted his post. I suggest you read his post's as written by a pro Word of God believer. Perhaps that will change your perspective for a better understanding of what is actually written.

I have nowhere claimed or asserted that God had nothing to do with the pre-1611 English BIbles, the KJV, and the NKJV. You improperly and wrongly try to put words in my mouth that I did not say.

The same guiding of the Holy Spirit available to the pre-1611 English Bible translators and the KJV translators was available to the NKJV translators.

No scriptural case has been made that God was any more involved in the making of the 1611 KJV than He was involved in the making of the pre-1611 English Bibles such as the 1537 Matthew's Bible or the 1560 Geneva Bible and than He was involved in the making of the NKJV.

I have not put words in your mouth. To claim that the Holy Spirit inspires error is the logical conclusion of your argument if you insist the translations are scripture and the word of God. Translation are all the vast majority of English speaking Christians have in the last 150 years. Most Christians nowadays are buying into your argument and logic teaches us that it is a major reason for the prophesied apostasy of the last days. The simple ones are hearing you when you say the translations are not the words of God.Your message is confusing.

You have not provided a biblical argument for multiplied translations into the same language in the last days. Let's have it now. Where does God give you authority that you are taking with your practice?

You have tried to put words in my mouth or claim that I made claims that I did not make. I nowhere claimed that the Holy Spirit inspires error. You again improperly put words in my mouth that I did not say, and those words are not actually the logical conclusion of my sound, scripturally-based points. Your understanding is wrong.

I agree with the truth that the pre-1611 English Bibles are the word of God translated into English in the same sense (univocally) as the 1611 KJV is the word of God translated into English and in the same sense (univocally) as the NKJV is the word of God translated into English. Post-NT Bible translations are not made by the process of direct inspiration of God.

Writing for all the translators in the 1611 preface The Translators to the Reader, Miles Smith noted: “If anything be halting, or superfluous, or no so agreeable to the original, the same may be corrected, and the truth set in place.” Miles Smith observed: “No cause therefore why the word translated should be denied to be the word, or forbidden to be current, notwithstanding that some imperfections and blemishes may be noted in the setting forth of it. For whatever was perfect under the sun, where apostles or apostolike men, that is, men indured with an extraordinary measure of God’s Spirit, and privileged with the privilege of infallibility, had not their hand? The Romanists therefore in refusing to hear, and daring to burn the word translated, did no less then despite the Spirit of grace, from whom originally it proceeded, and whose sense and meaning, as well as man’s weakness would enable, it did express.”

The guiding of the Holy Spirit does not make believers perfect and infallible so that they are unable to make mistakes or errors in their interpreting, understanding, and translating of the original-language Scriptures.

Do you think that you are an infallible pope who makes no mistakes in his understanding and interpreting of Scripture?

If having more than one English Bible translation is wrong, it means that the making of the 1611 KJV was wrong since English-speaking believers already had the word of God translated into English.

The 1611 KJV is based on or is a revision of multiple, varying pre-1611 English Bible translations.

Reading more than one English Bible translation or consulting more than one English Bible translation is in agreement with the scriptural truth of safety in a multitude of counsellors.

In the multitude of counsellors there is safety (Proverbs 11:14b)

For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: and in multitude of counsellors there is safety (Proverbs 24:6)

Without counsel purposes are disappointed, but in the multitude of counsellors they are established (Proverbs 15:22)

a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels [plural] (Prov. 1:5b)
