Okay, so something Spurgeon wrote made me think about things. I understand Spurgeon to have read 5 books a week in addition to everything else he did. I can't do that, but surprisingly he recommended being thoroughly acquainted with a book as opposed to reading as much stuff as possible. So I am curious if you had a loved one that for some reason would have no other resources available for life outside of the Bible and a dictionary, what resources do you think are best/most important?
For this we will count multi volume things as one resource, so if you think some 4 part series on Theology is best, that would be one resource, or if all of Spurgeon's sermons by year that could be one resource, some youtube channel a resource.
What are the things to be thoroughly aquainted with that you think would be most important and beneficial to Christians today?
Thank you.
