So, this is all original thinking, including all of the Greek and Hebrew definitions? You must be a Theology/Greek/Hebrew Professor at some seminary?

It makes many to be made alive !

The obedience unto death of Christ is more effective than the disobedience of adam, so it brings about a more glorious result. Rom 5:15

15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.

Now as by Adams one offence many be dead, dead to God and spiritually dead, all men by nature are dead spiritually the wages of sin, but because of Christ's obedience and the gift by Gods grace, it abounds to the many which makes them alive from the dead. Thats why Paul tells sinners that were spiritually dead, God made them alive through Christ, quickened them, so that they are or were saved by that abounding grace Eph 2:5

Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved)

So if one is never made spiritually alive to God out of being spiritually dead, Christ could not have tasted death for them Heb 2:9

Just as the elects oneness in Adam bought their death, likewise and even more, their oness in Christ brings their resurrection from the dead.1 Cor 15:22

For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive.

This includes their spiritual resurrection from spiritual death.65

Every sinner Christ died for is saved , even from their mothers womb, from the penalty of death for their sins, because Christ for them has already paid their deserved and merited penalty, which is also remission of sins. See the wages of sin is death Rom 6:23

23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

But Christ has for everyone He died, has totally abolished that wage of death[ 2 Tim 1:10], the only alternative for them now is eternal life through Christ their Lord.

Christ by His own Blood, obtained eternal redemption for everyone He died for Heb 9:12

Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

The word redemption here is the greek word lytrōsis and means:

    1. a ransoming, redemption
    2. deliverance, esp. from the penalty of sin [which is death Rom 6:23]

Now with this in mind, if anyone is teaching or believing that anyone Christ died for can be lost, they are teaching and believing a false gospel contrary to the redemptive and saving efficacy of the death of Christ ! 67

All sinners Christ died for become believers because they are His Spiritual offspring. Isa 53:10

10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.

This scripture is about the Lord Jesus Christ, and the phrase "when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin" Speaks of His Death, being made sin [ a sin offering 2 Cor 5:21] and the second phrase " he shall see his seed", speaks of his spiritual offspring as a result of his soul for them, being made an offering for sin.

Now Jesus speaks of this same blessed truth in Jn 12:24

24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

Christ here is the corn of wheat that will fall into the ground and die [speaking of his soul being made a offering for sin] and if he die, the result is [his dying] bringeth forth fruit, which equates to he shall see his seed. Now the word seed in Isa 53:10 is the word zera and means:

offspring, descendants, posterity, children and it also means : fruit

Now the word fruit is Jn 12:24 is the grk word karpos and means:

the fruit of one's loins, i.e. his progeny, his posterity

And Jn 12:24 gives a definite statement as to what will occur if the corn of wheat die, it bringeth forth or produce much fruit.

So a spiritual seed for Christ is promised as a result, effect of His dying !

One of the grand purposes of Christs death, the giving of Himself for His Church which He Loved Eph 5:25-26

    25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
The word that is the conjunction hina and denotes :

that, in order that, so that, in order that (denoting the purpose or the result):

So His death for His Church [every member of it, His Body] was for the purposeful result of sanctifying it or them.

That word sanctify the verb hagiazō means:

    1. to render or acknowledge, or to be venerable or hallow
    2. to separate from profane things and dedicate to God
      1. consecrate things to God
      2. dedicate people to God
    3. to purify
      1. to cleanse externally
      2. to purify by expiation: free from the guilt of sin
      3. to purify internally by renewing of the soul
    To set apart

This was done once and for all by His Death for them Heb 10:10

10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

The word sanctified here is in the perfect tense, having being once in the past not needing to be repeated.

Correct because repenting and believing are the results of Christ having died for one and causing their repenting and believing. Those are fruits of Christ saving death. Do you believe that ?

Another purpose found in Eph 5:25 as the result of Christs death for His Church is that it [every member] should be also cleansed. Lets read again:

    25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

Now the word cleanse here is the greek word katharizō:

    1. to free from defilement of sin and from faults
    2. to purify from wickedness
    3. to free from guilt of sin, to purify
    4. to consecrate by cleansing or purifying
    5. to consecrate, dedicate

Its also the same word Paul uses in Titus 2:14

14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

The whole point being that Spiritual Blessings are communicated to every member of Christs

Church, His Body whom He Loved and gave Himself for. Rom 8:32

32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? 68

Christ as the Surety of His People, His Sheep, His Body the Church accomplished these two things for them in His Surety-ship obedience, He fulfilled the law for them by keeping/obeying all of its Holy Commands, and added to that He came under the Laws curse and condemnation due to their iniquities Isa 53:5 which satisfied the penalty of death due unto them by His Cross !

It delivers us from this present evil world ?

What does ? The death of Christ, the giving of Himself for us Gal 1:4

Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:

The purpose is here stated as to why Christ gave himself for our [believers, His Body the Church]sins, its so that, in order that, he might deliver us from the present evil world.

    The conjunction that hopos means:

/hópōs ("so that") is stronger than simple "that," because it emphasizes the method (qualities, prerequisites) involved to accomplish the objective (purpose) at hand. Strong's Greek: 3704. ὅπως (hopós) -- as, how, that

To deliver us from this present evil world. We werent believers prior to the deliverance, but believing is an outcome of having been delivered from the world. Remember Paul says later that it was by the Cross that:

    Gal 6:14

14 But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.68

It did save all who repented and believed because that's what is bestowed upon them He died for and saves, He bestows upon them Repentance and Believing.

Now lets look at the word deliver in Gal 1:4

4 Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:

This word deliver is an interesting word, its the greek compound word exaireó its ek or ex:

    from, from out of
Usage: from out, out from among, from, suggesting from the interior outwards.

    And the word haireó :

    to take, choose

    Usage: I choose, prefer.

This is the ideal of election,

    so it is rendered

    to take out, to deliver

Usage: I take out, remove; sometimes (mid): I choose, sometimes: I rescue.

hairéomai, "personally choose, prefer") – properly, remove completely ("totally out from"), i.e. bring into a "complete rescue (full removal)."

[1807 (eksairéō) emphasizes total removal ("wholly out from"). This refers to a complete rescue, bringing a person into full deliverance.]

It reminds me as how God rescued and removed lot from judgment

Now this deliverance is Salvation in every facet, and its not according to the will of man, but according to the will of God Gal 1:4

4 Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:

The will of God our Father, which means He was our Father before we were delivered, and serves to merciful motive why we were delivered, for He's our Father by election in Christ first and foremost !69

“…the will of God our Father…” only means He is our Father NOW, not when we were children of disobedience.

The atoning work of Christ blesses us and turns us away from our sins Acts 3:25-26

25 Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.

26 Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.

Now even though Peter was speaking to jews at the time, this blessing wasnt limited to them, hence we read in vs 25 it stems from the Abrahamic Covenant which included the Gentiles.

    • "the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed."

Paul uses the same speech in speaking of the Gospel to the gentiles Gal 3:8

8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.

So being turned from ones iniquities is a by product of the Abrahamic promise from God "iniquities" So the blessing isnt for the jews only, though they would be the first to experience the blessing of it.

This is also the end in view by the redemptive death of Christ Titus 2:14

It accomplished their perfection forever. Heb 10:14

14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

This perfection doth includes their perfect justification before God!
