He makes a good point regarding priorities. With all the grave issues in the world, why would the Church find itself debating something as obscure as blessing homosexuals.

I think it is because the homosexual agenda has been a flagship of Satans assault, conquering every government and private institution, having Pride at its heart and mock symbol of God’s promise, the rainbow as it’s banner.

The pinnacle of its victorious triumphalism displayed at the greatest seat of world power not so long ago.
Given the crown of sovereign immunity from criticism by the media.

“And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.”

As a movement, what else is there to try conquer but largest Christian Church in the world, the Catholic Church. Every worldly institution has capitulated before this movement of gay proudness.

A few decades ago, if you were told that the homosexual movement would rule the world, be given preferment and privilege above all others, we all know what the response would be. Yet here we are.

Catholicism is so rife with error, for hundreds of years, I don’t know why anyone would remain in it.

Well, I’ve looked into it, and it turns out that the Catholic Church is true. Trust me.

I cannot trust you because you defend a group rife with error.

Christ is the Head of the Church.
There are no priests, nor nuns, nor cardinals.
    There is no holy water.
No prayers to dead saints, nor Mary.
    “Priests” cannot forgive sins.
    Indulgences are phony.
    The confessional is false.
Mary did not remain a virgin.
    Mary does not hear prayers.
    Mary was not without sin.
Mary was not assumed into Heaven.
Mary was and is blessed among women.

Those are some of their errors. And you want me to trust you? I wish you well in life but I will not trust you.

It shows how their error forces them to twist everything to fit. Either by denying that there is a problem with what is being taught, or that it doesn't really affect anything.

I certainly wasn't born into it. I was Baptist and after much study of the Early ChurchI found the so called errors to be the 'faith delivered to the saints'.

So why become a part of the RCC? Personally I would have preferred the Orthodox Church which delves deeper into contemplative prayer and worship, has much more tradition as well as spiritually. Still both do not emphasize scripture as much as do other Christian communities. Makes no sense to me, but that’s your choice.

Mikey, from my prospective much of these current church ‘anomalies’ are occurring because of progressive agendas.

I do tend to agree with you regarding The Orthodox Church and contemplative prayer and worship. I find it absent in evangelical churches. However, I have long been attending a Maronite Catholic Church which also has strong emphasis on contemplative prayer. Unfortunately, where I live now has no local Maronite Church. The Catholic Church I attend here emphasizes bible study and evangelism. The Alpha Course has seen many non-Christians interested in Christ make decisions to follow Him as Lord and Savior so I feel blessed to be part of this Christian Community.

I love watching what the Lord is doing in our town. We have several church plants that have taken churches which basically did not survive the pandemic and have now been revived.

If you have a moment check out what one pastor friend of mine has launched in a part of our community that has a deep need for the gospel message:

Idolatry and depravity of Gentile religious peoples

Why are there a lot of pedophiles in the Roman Catholic Church? The Word of GOD reveals why the RCC is full of pedophiles, as follow:

    Romans 1:v.21-32

21 Because that, when they knew GOD, they glorified him not as GOD, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened (The Church of Rome completely apostatized).

22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible GOD into an image made like to corruptible MAN(by the way, men are made from the dust of the earth as the idols are also made) , and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

24 Wherefore GOD also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

25 Who changed the Truth of GOD into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator who is blessed for ever. Amen. (they apostatized worshiping defuncts of men and women beatified by demonic Popes),
26 For this cause GOD gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men (gays or sodomites)working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge,
    GOD gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

32 Who knowing the judgment of GOD, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

    Revelation 19:v.20-21

20 And the Beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him (Revelation 13:v.12-14), with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the Beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both will be cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

21 And the remnant were slain with the Sword (Hebrews 4:v.12) of him that sat upon the horse, which Sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

    Revelation 21:v.8
8 But the fearful(cowards Christians), and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Do you have a church that does Latin Masses around you and if so have you attended any? They would be like my childhood before V2.
