A No Win Situation for the United States in 2024 Presidential Election

This 2024 presidential election between the Republicans and the Democrats is like a football game where the offense on a 3 down and 5 yards to go has two options:

1) A running play where a fumble results in a scoop-and-score for the defense.

2) A passing play where an interception results in a pick-6 for the defense.

Either way, the United States is gonna be in really, really bad shape; there will not be a unicorn in everyone’s backyard and a rainbow over everyone’s house, regardless of what Donald Trump or Kamala Harris tell you.

 

And Trump=the death of the republic and the birth of a single party fascist rule.

Either way, the United States will be in very, very bad shape, regardless of whether Donald Trump or Kamala Harris wins.

 

Both the right and the left have done that, currently do that, and will continue to do so, as the Congress has ceded much of its power to the executive branch so that they don't have to vote to for bills that might cost them votes in their next election.

The Congress wants the executive branch to rule by presidential orders and decree; afterwards, if something proves popular, then they can jump on the bandwagon and say that were for it all along, or if something proves unpopular, then they can say that they opposed it all along.

 

I am a minarchist classical liberal libertarian(but not a member of the Libertarian Party as I have not renewed my membership since the Mises Caucus took over the party in 2022). I am quite aware that being a minarchist and a fan of President Grover Cleveland is a lonely place to be; thus, I am pretty much relegated to:

 

As much as for saying that "Harris=the death of the republic and the birth of a single party socialist rule." Progressivism is not socialism anymore than MAGA National Conservatism is fascism. I was simply making a point. Being slightly to the left of MAGA National Conservatism does not make one a communist, just as being slightly to the right of Progressivism does not make one a fascist.

You have to bear in mind that I deeply despise both Progressivism and MAGA National Conservatism, I deeply despise both the Democratic and the Republican Parties in 2024. And for the record, as a minarchist classical liberal libertarian, I deeply despise the Mises Caucus that has been running the Libertarian Party since the 2022 national convention.

 

The United States had had socialism ever since Social Security started.

 

Why do you say that? Do you support one of those awful candidates?
