    Question

Would you vote for the murderer and adulterer, David the son of Jessie?

Obviously not. Character is essential for a leader. David's grave sins (not just murder and adultery) caused endless grief to the people he led within their lifetimes and succeeding generations. Willingly electing someone you know has massive character issues is insanity and is a rejection of our Christian responsibility of discernment. The "we are voting for a President, not a pastor" sentiment to justify one's vote is a cop-out. We are almost always voting for the "lesser of two evils," but those who hide behind that premise betray their hypocrisy and cowardice when they do not hold their favored candidate publicly accountable for their words and actions. Until I see Christ-claiming Trump supporters act toward Trump like Nathan the prophet with David, the comparisons of Trump to King David ring completely hollow.

Of course, no one votes for kings, so the question is quite strange. God never intended for His theocracy to have a king, but He let them have their way to their own detriment. David was good at killing and good at repenting. However, his character and reputation was so bad that God prevented him from being associated with the building of the first temple (aka Solomon's Temple).

While the cycle is the work of Professor Tytler, I don't believe he was actually professor at the time, being more around 1779 (I think), and the date of the cycle I believe is more 1774.

My wife has a cousin who is fanatical democrat.
She posted a tearful, "end of the world" post when Hillary Clinton lost the election years ago.
We were anticipating a similar post yesterday but she turned contemptuous instead.

But Nancy Peloci didn't disappoint...she fell apart during Kamala Harris' concession speech.
You know, Kamala's speech, where the man she accused of destroying democracy, the racist, fascist, convicted felon became President Elect Trump, ...but now everything will be okay.
Peloci lied, cheated, covered up her involvement, colluded to convict...
She sold her soul to the devil and he didn't keep his promise.
The tears were laughable. What a legacy she left her Democratic Party!

How many of the DT haters that gloated when the Dem lawfare was in full swing are running to their safe spaces to curl up with puppy dogs and teddy bears after the…..

    …………..TRUMP VICTORY!!!!!…………

    ?

All those convictions are about to be overturned. Smith is dropping all the federal charges. Fanny Willis will likely be disbarred. These judges in New York will be forced to retire, after their obvious bias is review by upper courts

If there is any justice, the DC federal judge will be impeached and removed from the bench.

Yes, it will be a great day for justice.

In fact, I’d expect our justice system will be GREAT AGAIN!!!!

    peace to you

I think that helped Trump tremendously (and Trump rightly used it).

Most Americans probably suspect Trump is not always on the "up and up", simply based on his success and occupation. But I think most also know the DNC weaponized the judicial system and lied repeatedly about Trump.

We all (those of us over 40) that Trump was in a long term bi-racial relationship when many thought that a controversial issue. We saw Trump leave and condemn the Reform Party when they supported David Duke, we watched him call Duke a racist, we saw Trump denounce the white men in Louisiana who voted for Duke for governor as disgraceful, we watched Trump work for and with minority communities and leaders, we saw Trump denouncing racism long before he was POTUS.

With the weaponization of the judicial system and the easily disproven lies it is no wonder Harris was defeated with such an overwhelming Trump victory.

Then you have her policies, which we know little about.

I doubt most want to pay for transgender surgeries, want men competing in women's sports, actually want to expand the federal government, desire sending US funding to build the military of our values, want war, want to tax unrealized gains, want to teach LGBTQ in schools, want to continue and expand DEI hiring practices, want the government to determine "truth", or want to censure free speech.

Problem is a lot of Ameticans for want those things. Just not a majority.

The biggest problem, imo, for the left is they view anyone who disagrees with them as uninformed or just plain stupid.

Based on what you posted, I agree DT supporters are very informed on the issues.

Not even traditional liberals want to sacrifice their daughters on the altar of transgender insanity.

We may never know how many votes were swayed on that issue.

    peace to you
