Christ specifically stated He died for His Sheep Jn 10

The sheep are those that have trusted in Him and thus they follow Him when He calls them by name.

Remember we are the ones that have entered by the narrow gate through faith.

And as He said He has other sheep that still need to come to Him.

For someone that says they have studied the bible for 40+ years I am surprised that you have yet to discover the truth.
I also discovered from reading in another context, Peter preached that God also gave some Gentiles repentance unto life. Not conditions. Acts 11:18

18 When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

The Sheep are those who will believe in Christ, future tense, they dont come out the womb believing, though they come out Sheep. Jn 10:16

16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

Jn 17:20

20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;

BF, can't you see that God granted/ allowed the Gentiles to to be grafted through repentance and faith?

This is the mystery that Paul revealed, how that the Gentiles would be grafted into the New Covenant with Israel.

The Jews believed only a Jew could be saved, it had been kept from them that God would also save the Gentiles.

Both Jew and Gentile must take part in repentance and believing to enter into the New Covenant.

God has called all men everywhere to repent, Acts 17:30, that is an action carried out by the individual.

Surly you can see this!

Context shows that Peter was telling the church about the salvation of Cornelius. So the condition can be seen in Act 10. Peter presented the gospel message and Cornelius and those present believed and the Holy Spirit fell on them.

You are searching for a verse that will support your errant view but you keep coming up short.

Lol God granted/gifted Gentiles with Repentance unto life, simple as that. So they are caused to repent

I agree with what those verse show BF.

Joh 10:16 "I have other sheep, which are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they will hear My voice; and they will become one flock with one shepherd.

Joh 17:20 "I do not ask on behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word;

They hear His voice, they believe through the message given.

"Except you repent" is the condition of salvation, it is a choice offered to man.

BF, you're searching right now for something from Scripture you can twist into your false doctrine.

But as Silverhair said, you will come up short every time.

And I'm going to make sure that it's pointed out!

If they were made to repent. why did Christ say, "except you repent you shall perish in your sins?"
Because He said it. However when repentance is given it causes repentance,

Its the greek word didōmi:

  1. to give
  2. to give something to someone
    1. of one's own accord to give one something, to his advantage
      1. to bestow a gift

the noun denotes something to be done by him to whom it is said to be given: διδόναι τινὶ μετάνοιαν, to cause him to repent, Acts 5:31; Acts 11:18

You're not understanding the context in which the gift of eternal life is given.

God provides everything for you to be saved, and I mean everything!

But you must, from the heart repent and believe.

Paul told us, "IF you will confess with YOUR mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in YOUR heart that God raised him from the dead, you shall be saved."

That's based on "IF" you will do it from the heart, not some thought in the head.

No where will you find in the Scripture an example of God repenting and believing for you, that is pagan.

God in salvation gives repentance unto life, its not a condition a sinner must perform to get saved. Thats a false teaching

He is offering the ability for you to repent. otherwise there is no hope for man.

That's why He has demanded that all men, everywhere repent. It must be done by the individual to receive eternal life.

You're a Calvinist, you understand total depravity, what it means.

If God didn't come to you through the hearing of the Gospel and make Jesus Christ real in the heart of man, there is no hope.

He gives us hope to escape the wrath to come through repenting and believing in His Son.

There is no example in all of Scripture of what you're teaching, you are simply misunderstanding God's way of salvation.

Christ as Saviour Gives Repentance to the elect, thats what a Saviour from sin does Acts 5:31

31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

He also gave them forgiveness of sins, thats Salvation also
