where does it say this?Scripture says that the last revision of the King James Bible was made by men of God in 1612. Later revisions were made by other men.

says who?The entire assemble of translators is legitimate in the eyes of God, not just two individuals. The "improvement" of the King James Bible after 1612 is not legitimate in the eyes of God.
lets not even get into the flaws of the english language as compared to the Greek..Bottom line - either something is perfect or not.
God is perfect - Man is not!
Original autograph Scripture is perfect
Translations are not perfect - even with minor spelling, punctuation, ect
As in the Army we say "Close enough for govt work!" And as we all know - "It looses something in translation."Nothing. The King James is a great bible. I used it myself until my parents got me a NKJV Scofield reference for my 18th birthday.
but it is not a perfect bible. nor is it truly inspired.
Actually that would have a major factor and should be considered!lets not even get into the flaws of the english language as compared to the Greek..

I guess it would depend. Both would work literally. A refrigerator is cold storage. The example I like to use is that in German a refrigerator = Kühlschrank
Now a literal translation of Kühlschrank would be cold storage
So, if you are translating - would you use cold storage or refrigerator?
never heard this. heard it was equal. to the greek. ie perfect..Actually that would have a major factor and should be considered!
What really gets me are those who say that the King James Version is superior to the Greek!
Come on over to the VET pages and tell us about your Naval time!I am retired Navy/Coast guard so I understand that term. and used it often

Or when KJVO state that it was and is the ONLY Translation given to us by God, as its inerrant and perfectActually that would have a major factor and should be considered!
