Better be making sure that the forgiveness of sins comes from water baptism or by the Blood of Christ through repentance.

It can't be both! Either Christ did it all for you, or you have to help Him out.

No mate.

“With many other words he warned them; and he pleaded with them, “Save yourselves from this corrupt generation.” 41 Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.”

We are saved by Christ’s Sacrifice on the Cross through Baptism.

From what you have been saying, you would not have accepted Peter’s offer of baptism for the forgiveness of your sins.
You clearly don’t believe in Baptism for the forgiveness of sin, you only see it as symbolic and does nothing.
This is totally unscriptural.

You don’t believe Baptism now saves us.

You don’t believe in Baptism for the forgiveness of sin.

But, “Those who accepted his message were baptized.”

I've never heard of a single person who refused to be water baptized.

It's the reason for water baptism that separates those who fully trust in His finished work and those who must add to it.

Would you have accepted being Baptised by Peter for the forgiveness of your sins?

“and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins”

Something tells me ( namely you ) you would have stopped Peter at that point, and lectured him saying that’s not how sins are forgiven.
That only through the blood of Christ are we forgiven, not through the works or ceremony of Baptism.
And that Baptism doesn’t now save us.

All contravening the scripture.

Yea, like I would have the nerve to say anything to Peter. Knowing what I know now, if I had been in the presence of Peter in his day he would have thought me to be a mute. Other than, yes sir, no sir.

We know where we stand, Cathode. We see things differently, nothing wrong with expressing those differences.
