Do these verses fully summarize what is needed for salvation?

I like to summarize for those who are of the world as to what they should believe and do to be saved. I like to keep it simple for them before going deeper, you know, milk before solids. :) I believe the following verses fully summarize in simple language what is needed for salvation. Would you add, delete, or change anything? Thanks in advance!

Matthew 7:21
21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

John 14:15
15 “If you love me, you will keep my commandments.

Matthew 22:36-40
Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” 37 And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. 40 On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.”

John 13:34
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.

Galatians 5:13-14
For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. 14 For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

1 John 3:23-24, And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us

Hello Mur, This fine list of verses seems to be more for what a person is to do, after they are saved, rather than before they are saved. salvation it self is not based on what we do, but rather it is based on what Jesus has done for His elect sheep.
Sinners are urged to believe , or repent and believe. They cannot do this in and of themselves, but if God is working inside them, He will enable them to believe savingly! Several good verse you offered have to do with what would be known as sanctification, or growing in grace and knowledge.

Great verse! Thank you!

I'll wait to see what other suggestions come in and then I'll revise what I wrote above. I don't want to give them too much in one communique lest they say "TLDR" (too long didn't read).

Some have argued that the repentance required by God was not referring to we must repent and stop all known sinning before can get saved, but that God will bring us to the point that we repent of our efforts to save ourselves by good works and behavior, and rely totally upon Jesus death and resurrection instead

Baptism for the forgiveness of your sins and to receive The Holy Spirit.

“Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”

And to eat Jesus Flesh and drink His Blood.

“ Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you. “

“ He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood, has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day “

If we believe the Scripture is inspired by the Holy Spirit, and that He is the author of all Scripture, then we know who He wants us to follow by instruction in these last days.

1 Cor. 11:1

"Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ."

The Holy Spirit gave the Apostle Paul about 1/3 of NT Scripture to give us instruction, and he is the only author in Scripture to explain exactly how man is saved. He was given personally by Christ the meaning of the New Covenant in a revelation. The Holy Spirit refers to Paul as "the master church builder" and Christ referred to Him as "a chosen vessel" to take the Gospel to the Jews and the Gentiles. He is known as the 13th apostle, the apostle to the Gentiles.

What did the great apostle say about salvation? Or better yet what didn't he say about salvation?

Did he say that water baptism saves or forgives sin, no he did not!

Did he say that sacraments save the soul, no he did not!

Did he say being a member of any Church saves the soul, no he did not!

What then did he say?

Rom. 10:9-10

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

This is His commandment, that we]believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as He commanded us. The one who keeps His commandments remains in Him, and He in him. We know by this that He remains in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.

1) We believe, not we are enabled to believe what God has prescribed.
2) To believe in the name, means to believe in all the aspects we have learned concerning Jesus, His divine origin, His messianic mission, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His perfect sacrifice for the sin of the world, His bodily redemption, arising from the dead, His commands and promises, and His ascension into Heaven where He sits at the right hand of the Father.
3) Our love of Christ is demonstrated with our love for others, just as Christ forgives us, if we love Him we will forgive others.
4) If we kept His commandment to believe the name of Christ, we abide in Him, and Christ abides in us. And we know Christ abides in us by the Helper whom He has given us.
5) As a born anew child of God, having undergone the washing of regeneration, we keep His commandments, as any apparent violations are forgiven so we have not sinned in any manner including trespass.
6) God decides whether our "belief in His name" results in "believing into His kingdom, (thus being transferred out of the realm of darkness and into Christ) when and if God credits our faith as righteousness or not.

I would have to say "no". Those verses do show what it means to be saved, but not what is needed for salvation.

Repentance and belief (turning from oneself and to God, creating a new heart, being born of the Spirit) is what is needed to be saved. The theological question is how this comes to be (it is the work of God).

We are saved to do those good works that God prepared beforehand that we would do. But those things are not what saves us.

Thanks. Yes, a verse or two on repentance is needed.

If you “ shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus ” that is proclaim belief in Him and His teachings before men.
“Therefore, everyone who confesses me before men, I also will confess him before my Father, who is in heaven.”
So it’s not just merely making a private verbal confession of Jesus, it is witnessing to all Jesus taught and His Lordship and that He is your Lord. That you stand firmly with Him unashamedly, come what may.

Matthew 7:21
21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

John 14:15
15 “If you love me, you will keep my commandments.

Jesus commanded that you eat His flesh and drink His blood.

Many are refusing to do this. They refuse His table and deny His table before men.

Jesus said the publican in the temple beat upon his breast and said, "God be merciful to me a sinner."

He said that publican went to his house justified.

Jesus said “ My flesh is real food and my blood is real drink “

Many disciples of Jesus are good up to this point, but fall away denying His words, calling them symbolic food and symbolic drink, in disbelief.
