Do these verses fully summarize what is needed for salvation?

The Apostle Paul says the Lord’s Supper proclaims His death until He comes again. That is symbolic.

Not symbolic. The Eucharist proclaims Jesus death because we partake of that sacrifice and death which made Jesus Flesh and Blood available to us to eat and drink as He commanded.

We have a prayer we say at Communion.

“ When we eat this Bread and drink this Cup, we proclaim your death oh Lord, until you come again. “

Because for us it is not just bread and wine, but the Flesh and Blood of Christ crucified.

That is why it is a proclamation of Jesus death, because it is Jesus Body and Blood.

Something symbolic, would not actually be a proclamation of Jesus death.

I like to summarize for those who are of the world as to what they should believe and do to be saved. I like to keep it simple for them before going deeper, you know, milk before solids. :) I believe the following verses fully summarize in simple language what is needed for salvation. Would you add, delete, or change anything? Thanks in advance!

Matthew 7:21
21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

John 14:15
15 “If you love me, you will keep my commandments.

Matthew 22:36-40
Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” 37 And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. 40 On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.”

John 13:34
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.

Galatians 5:13-14
For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. 14 For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

Found this on the net. Clear and concise.

"The gospel is beautifully simple: salvation has been fully paid for by Jesus Christ and is offered freely to all who believe in Him. Jesus, the eternal Son of God (Joh_1:1-4; Col_1:15-17), took on human flesh (Joh_1:14; Php_2:6-8; Col_2:9), lived a sinless life (1Jn_3:5), and willingly went to the cross (Joh_10:18). There, He bore our sins and took the judgment we deserved (Mar_10:45; Rom_5:8; 1Pe_3:18). With His dying breath, He declared, “It is finished!” (Joh_19:30). That was no cry of surrender—it was a declaration of victory. The debt of sin was paid in full (Col_2:13-14), and God’s justice was fully satisfied (Rom_3:25-26). Now, eternal life is offered without cost to us, because it cost Christ everything. Scripture says, “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Rom_6:23). This gift isn’t earned through good works or religious rituals. It’s received by faith alone—simple, personal trust in Jesus as your Savior (Eph_2:8-9). Scripture states, “whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life” (Joh_3:16 b). No strings attached. No performance required. Just grace—free, full, and forever."

John 3:31-36

... He that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all.

32 And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony.

33 He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that GOD is true.

34 For he whom GOD hath sent speaketh the words of GOD: for GOD giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.

35 The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand. ->(Luke 15:21 combined with John 17:10, take a look)

36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life->(Mark 16:16 combined with Hebrews 1:1-3, take a look): and he that believeth NOT the Son->(as Scriptures say) shall not see life; but the wrath of GOD abideth on him.->(Revelation 11:18 combined with Revelation 21:8).

Matthew 25:41->
Then shall JESUS say (LITERALLY) also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye CURSED->(you serpents, you are CURSED->Genesis 3:14 combined with Revelation 12:9, combined with Matthew 23:32-35 and Revelation 21:8, among other Scriptures), yes, CURSED into everlasting fire, prepared for the Devil and his (idolater) messengers:

Therefore, woe to the idolaters who invoke the dead beatified by the Beast of the apostate church of Rome, in fact a disguised spiritism as is written in Isaiah 8: 19-22, something like the king Saul of Israel who sought a witch WOMAN to invoke deads, among them was Samuel.

So, woe of the idolaters who invoke the dead like Mary, mother of JESUS, and Apostles, and a lot of other defuncts, hundreds of them in the two millennia of generations that have passed, yeah, woe of the Beast of the idolater and apostate church of Rome and his followers, for the Devil is come down unto you, and he knows that he has but a short time.

BY THE WAY, the witch WOMAN above cited is the nation of Israel, which worshipped the golden calf, and after invented other demonic gods to worship, and in Rome they attended the church of Rome and corrupted the church with their idolatry, then the church of Rome apostatized because of the Jewish churchgoers. In the year 70 the Most High GOD commanded the DESTRUCTION of the Temple of Jerusalem, den of thieves, and banished and scattered the people of Israel throughout the world until 1948, 1878 years of severe PUNISHMENTS, and now? -> AND NOW? -> Revelation 14:14-20, take a look.

Do you deny John 6:35-63 is Jesus teaching about coming and believing in Him to possess eternal life?

No, but He adds more to this coming and believing in Him, He gets really specific about receiving eternal life.

“ He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day. “

You’d have to believe Jesus flesh is real food and blood is real drink, to be able come to Him and eat His flesh and drink His blood.

John 6:47-48, Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. I am that bread of life.

Sure, if you believe Jesus words, that by eating His flesh and drinking His blood you will receive Eternal Life, you will then eat His flesh and drink His blood to receive Eternal Life.

But not believing Jesus words, that His Flesh is real food and blood real drink or that you must eat His flesh and drink His blood, you don’t believe and don’t come to Jesus, and you don’t eat and drink his flesh and blood as He says.

@Cathode, claiming John 6:35-63 to mean the Eucharist is to believe what is not so and claiming a false hope that Jesus didn't teach.

John 6:63, It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

John 6:47-48, Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. I am that bread of life.

Believing Jesus to be the Christ, one's Savior.
1 John 5:1, Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: . . . .

Ok, so believing Jesus is your Lord and Saviour, we all believe that.

Does this “believing in Jesus” extend to believing Jesus words and teachings, like “ My flesh is real food and my blood is real drink “
And “ Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day “. Can I reject this, and still consider myself to be “ believing in Jesus “ ?

Because to me, you seem to be saying that mere intellectual assent that Jesus is our Lord and Saviour is “ believing in Jesus “ and not believing and observing His words, teachings and commandments.

Those that left Jesus after He taught that His flesh was real food and blood was real drink, and that they must eat His flesh and drink His blood.
Were they still “ believing in Jesus “?

Obviously not. They didn’t believe His words and teaching, thus were not “ believing in Jesus “.
Rejecting Jesus words and teaching, they had unbelief in Jesus.

Believing Jesus flesh is real food and blood is real drink, is “ believing in Jesus “

Believing that “ Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has Eternal Life and I will raise him up on the last day “ is “believing in Jesus.”

Those that don’t believe and follow these teachings reject and deny Jesus. They aren’t “ believing in Jesus “.

Those that come to Jesus and eat His flesh and drink His Blood, are believing in Jesus.
Those that don’t, aren’t believing in Jesus.

@Cathode,
Anyone believing anything not true doesn't make what is not true to be true.

So Jesus words are untrue? I knew it ultimately came down to those that believe Jesus words and those who don’t.

Catholics actually believe Jesus words, this is the difference.

We actually believe that Jesus flesh is real food and blood is real drink.

We actually eat Jesus flesh and drink His blood as he commanded.

Those that don’t come to Jesus and eat His flesh and drink His blood, don’t really believe in Jesus, they deny His words and don’t keep His commands, they don’t believeth in Jesus.

Jesus flesh is real food and His blood is real drink, believe that, and then you will “believe in Jesus.”

So Jesus words are untrue?
It is my understanding that Roman Catholic Church teaches teachings that are not true.

Now what Jesus taught in, John 6:47-48, Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. I am that bread of life.

. . . hath everlasting life.
John 3:16, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

It is my understanding that Roman Catholic Church teaches teachings that are not true.

Your understanding is wrong, I am just referring to Jesus words in Scripture, Jesus direct teachings in Scripture.

Now what Jesus taught in, John 6:47-48, Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.

Yeah, then Jesus elaborates after this doesn’t He. To believeth in/on Jesus, you have to believe that by eating Jesus flesh and drinking His blood we have eternal life and be raised on the last day.

I am that bread of life

Jesus elaborated again, “This bread is my flesh “ and “ whoever eats this bread will live forever.”

. . . hath everlasting life.
John 3:16, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

People didn’t believeth Jesus words that His flesh was real food and blood was real drink, therefore they didn’t eat His flesh and drink His blood to have eternal Life.

“Whosoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.”

Those who do believeth in Jesus, eat His flesh and drink His blood and have that everlasting life.

Not believing Jesus words is how people are truly left behind, they do not believe in Him.

This is the sad reality, the greatest opportunity given up because they could not believe in Him.

“Jesus knew who did believe and who it was that would betray Him”

You are wrong.
John 6:35, And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
And.
John 6:62-63, What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before? It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
Are being denied. Having absolutely nothing to do with the Passover remembrance being taught.

You are wrong.
John 6:35, And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

They never hunger and thirst, because they believed Jesus and come to Jesus and actually eat His flesh and drink His blood and have everlasting life.

Remember, Jesus Flesh is real food and His Blood is real drink, not symbolic food and symbolic drink, real food and real drink.

And.
John 6:62-63, What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before? It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
Are being denied.

No they aren’t. Jesus words are spirit and life, nothing there means symbolic, not even in the Greek. In fact, in the Greek, Jesus words are even more literal.

Having absolutely nothing to do with the Passover remembrance being taught.

The connection is through Judas, who did not believe Jesus Flesh was real food and blood was real drink.

“Jesus knew who did not believe and who it was that would betray Him” John 6

When did Judas carry out his betrayal of Jesus.

At the Last Supper.

“Jesus answered, “[The one who will betray me] is the one to whom I give this piece of bread when I have dipped it in the dish.” So when he had dipped the piece of bread, he gave it to Judas son of Simon Iscariot. After he ate the piece of bread, Satan entered into him.” John 13: 27

“ Then Jesus said to Judas “What you are about to do, do quickly.”

The Bread of Life discourse John 6 and the Last Supper John 13 is very closely linked.

In John 6, why is Judas’ lack of belief that Jesus flesh is real food and blood is real drink, and they must eat His flesh and drink His blood, linked to Jesus later betrayal by Judas.

“Jesus knew who did not believe and who it was that would betray Him” John 6

Then in John 13, we see Jesus dip the bread into the Seder wine dish and give it to Judas, the dipping into the Seder wine traditionally symbolised the Betrayal of Joseph when his brothers dipped his coat in goats blood as evidence of his death. It is 1 of 4 wine rituals of the ancient Seder.

This Bread and this Wine had already been declared by the Lord to be His Body and Blood.

To eat Jesus Body and drink His Blood you must first believe that it is His Body and Blood.

To believe Jesus invitation words in John 6, is the Garment of Faith at the Lord’s Supper in John 13.

No it is not.

No it is not.
John 13:2, . . . And supper being ended, the devil having now put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray him; . . . .

“The evening meal was in progress, and the devil had already prompted Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot, to betray Jesus.”

“And during supper, the devil having already put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray him,”

Obviously Supper wasn’t ended because there was still food on a set table and Jesus took some of the bread, dipped it, and gave it to Judas.

And at the moment Judas ate that bread, Satan entered into him. Up to that point Satan was only prompting Judas, but when he ate that bread, Satan entered him.

This is the moment.

“Yet there are some of you who do not believe.” For Jesus had known from the beginning which of them did not believe and who would betray him.”

Jesus future betrayal by Judas is linked to Jesus bread of life discourse and Judas not believing it.

The Bread of Life discourse even ends ominously mentioning Judas and the later betrayal.

“Then Jesus replied, “Have I not chosen you, the Twelve? Yet one of you is a devil!”71 (He meant Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot, who, though one of the Twelve, was later to betray him.)”

One would have to be completely blind, or wilfully ignorant not to see the link between John 6 and the Last Supper.
