Automatic Salvation?

Why this poster is allowed to disrupt discussion is beyond me. Does God decide whether the lost person's faith is "good enough?" Who said that. Nobody. God crediting the lost person's faith as righteousness is an act of mercy, as that person with that faith deserves condemnation.

Salvation does NOT depend upon the person who wills, but upon God who has mercy.

Then why do you have such a problem with the scripture I posted?

It is clear that if you believe you are saved. No if's and's or but's.

God has set the condition of salvation, belief in His risen son. He did not say then I have to decide if I will credit that faith did He.

You by your well God has to credit that faith have introduced the question of whether the faith is good enough.

That sound's a lot like a works type faith you are promoting.

This definitely sounds like “automatic salvation”.

First John, chapter 2

22 And who is a liar? Anyone who says that Jesus is not the Christ. Anyone who denies the Father and the Son is an antichrist.

23 Anyone who denies the Son doesn’t have the Father, either. But anyone who acknowledges the Son has the Father also.

24 So you must remain faithful to what you have been taught from the beginning. If you do, you will remain in fellowship with the Son and with the Father.

25 And in this fellowship we enjoy the eternal life he promised us.

First John, chapter 5

1 Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him.

5 Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

10 He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself; he who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son.

13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.

Totally off topic, the issue is who decides whether or not, a person believes such that God then chooses to transfer the person spiritually into Christ.
God the Father altready had chosen them to be found in Christ from etrnity past

Matthew 19:14, But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

Mark 10:14 But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
