Exodus says the heaven, earth, and sea was made in the six days. You have said before the six days began.
Just as Gen 1:3-31 says but that still does not alter the reality of Gen 1:2.
They really are but you are determined not to hear me.
I have heard you. You hold to a YEC view. But you stll have not dealt with Gen 1:2
Well, I suppose having it spelled out point by point has done nothing to help you understand what I am saying. I should give you up as an internet troll, but God made, per Exodus 20:11 the heaven, earth, and sea, within the six days of creation.
That means that the sea was not there before day one to move on.
The earth came at the beginning of the six days because it was made within the six days.
Heaven/ the universe, space was madeat the beginning of day one because it was made within the six days of Exodus 20:11.
I can’t say it any more plainly than that.
I have not denied creation as we see it in Gen 1:3-31 but you still have not dealt with Gen 1:2.
It seems you do not have an answer so you just dance around it.
The waters are what God made within the six days per Exodus.
The earth was made within the six days per Exodus.
Still not dealing with the elephant in the room are you. Gen 1:2 just will not work with your YEC view.
That is not what you said that I didn’t understand. I know what Genesis 1:1 means.
I have a much harder time understanding you sometimes.
Perhaps you should just go read again what I have said.
You keep showing your blind spot.
I understand your point but it’s not that hard to get past that point.
If it is not that hard to get past that point then why do you have such a hard time doing it?
Not at all. A little logic goes a long way.
But I am not seeing any logic coming from you on this. You continue to ignore Gen 1:2
The things God made in the six days are what you are saying existed before the six days began.
No actually I am not but that is what you want me to say.
This is what the bible says
Gen 1:1 statement, God created the heavens and the earth
Gen 1:2 statements, earth was formless and void & Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters
Neither has any indication of time. For that we have to look to Gen 1:3-31.
We have no idea how long the earth was formless and void or how long Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.
Even Exo 20:11 does not help you in this as it just states:
For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth and the sea and all that is in them, but on the seventh day He rested.
Yes you have. You have placed the creation that was made within the six days of Exodus outside of the same six days described in Genesis. Very poor logic.
And there are people who have presented me much better arguments to my position than you. I have waited for anything beside “I agree with Scripture too.” But I suppose that is the best argument you have.
Gen 1:3-31 - Gen 2:2 is the as we see in Exo 20:9-10
But that still does not deal with Gen 1:2 as much as you would like it to.
If you do not think the word of God is the best argument then what do you think is?
