It looks like liberal American type politics that ran a political game on them. Once all of that occurred the African's immediately left the denomination. And... My goodness.... For a church to fly the American flag and the LGBTQ, rainbow, or pride flag (formerly gay pride flag) right underneath it!

I find the fundamental Baptist much more steadfast in their ways. Pentecostal Holiness is basically 1800's Methodist. When I first joined as a teenager I thought that we would continue in revival until Gabriel's trumpet sounded and called us home. I really grieved that the church basically followed the Methodist out of the Spirit and into fleshly things. And it all begins subtilty. Someone riding a new Cadillac to church when everyone else is driving beaten down vehicles for example. And then the trip goes down from there.
I would emphasize, in topic with this thread, to recognize the subtle things that begins a regression. And if anyone is promoting such things to tell them we do not wish to follow the Methodist into regression.

Churches and denominations. The majority of your seeker friendly churches don't necessarily belong to a denomination. They consider themselves non-denominational churches that mainly concentrate on church growth, that equals more money. An example is Andy Stanley's North Point Community Church. He has 50,000 regular attenders throughout his 8 campuses in the Atlanta area that he live streams to. In addition to these core locations, the organization maintains a global network of over 150 strategic partner churches that model their ministry after the North Point strategy.
Then there are the denominations: UMC, Episcopalians, Presbyterians, Church of Christ, and others.
Satan infiltrates their ranks and leads them astray.

Here is a woman UMC pastor drawing flak for comparing the Bible to Aesop's fables (c. 620 – 564 BCE; was a Greek fabulist and storyteller credited with a number of fables now collectively known as Aesop's Fables).
I don't believe she is a "reverend" of anything.
Also, not paying them $5 to read the story.

Wow..she is some piece of work. Some day I hope that woman wakes up with a chest full of
conviction, picks up a Bible and actually reads a Gospel or two about the Jesus she has been
talking about.

That, or she'll just write it off as another "contradiction".
