Pentagon Generals Revolt

…..

Trump had a high turnover rate of staff and cabinet members during his first administration. He hates to be advised to do something other than he wants to.
What is the source for your statement “he hates to be advised to do something other than what he wants to”?
If he had personnel who disagreed with him, he canned them.
He fired people that refused to carry out his policies. He gets to make the decisions. All POTUS’s do. Military leaders can disagree and advise otherwise, but when POTUS makes the decision, it must be carried out. If they thinks it’s wrong, resign. Don’t disobey, don’t undermine his authority.

Harry Truman fired MacAuthor (one of the most popular generals of WW2) because he refused to carry out his policy and undermined his authority.
This term he has surrounded himself with butt kissers.
DT has surrounded himself with like minded people. All POTUS do that for cabinet picks.
He's had fired generals because they disagreed with him.
Source for the statement? They have purged the pentagon of radical leftists that have implemented harmful policies like the cross dressing nightmare and undermine policies that support good order and morale.
We've all seen Trump go from praising someone and then calling them the worst person in that position because they actually doing the right thing, but not what Trump wanted.
Right, he gets to set the policy. If they disagree and won’t implement the policy, resign or be fired.
Look at all the executive orders Trump has written and that have been overturned by the federal courts to include the SCOTUS. Have you ever noticed what is usually the first thing he says when overruled by the SCOTUS? "They got it wrong." Trust me, if he could fire any of them and replace them with someone who would go along with everything he does, he would.
The dems do the same and want to add 10 radical leftists to the court to pack it as liberal forever.
I used to consider myself a Republican. I left the party and now consider myself a constitutional conservative. My father, my son, and myself made the Army a career to defend this nation and the Constitution. It pains me to see politicians on both sides of the aisle who ignore it. But what pains me more is when I see Christians who put politics above God.
Thank you and your family for your service.

No doubt there is very little difference between Dems and many Repubs. I call them the republicrats because they have very little real differences.

DT is hated by all the Washington establishment of both parties. That is why both parties attempted to destroy him in his first term.

The repubs in the 2nd term have become more subtle, knowing he has the support of the majority of Americans and he can end their careers.

He is shaking up the way things are done for the better, despite all his shortcomings.

Peace to you

I'll use Jeff Sessions, Trump's first of four (two were temps) US Attorney Generals during the first term. Sessions recused himself from Robert Mueller's probe into Russian interference of the 2016 election. Sessions had no choice but to recuse himself because of his involvement in Trump's presidential campaign, as the campaign's chairman of the national security advisory committee. Having served in that position would make him a witness for Trump. Think of how it would appear if a witness was participating in the actual investigation. Trump didn't care and forced Sessions to resign.

You can also read this article, Turnover on Trump's A Team.

I'm amazed you believe Trump has the support of the majority of the people in this country, because the polls show otherwise. I know a lot of people who supported Trump in his 2024 campaign, but no longer today because of his actions. You state he is "shaking up the way things are done for the better..." What things specifically?

Good example. Sessions was an establishment republican that went along with Repub/dem attempt to destroy DT in his first term by appointing a partisan radical (Muller) to lead the probe.

The “probe” focused on DT. We now know the interference was when Hillary’s campaign went through a law firm to pay a man to slander DT with false accusations. Muller and his team had that info and buried it.

Muller did this same thing before (in Texas?) where launch a very public FBI investigation into the family of a tea party candidate, just weeks before the election. It swung the polls, he lost, after the election the investigation was dropped.
I'm amazed you believe Trump has the support of the majority of the people in this country,…
I’m amazed you are unaware Trump won the election, again, with not only an electoral victory, but also a majority of all voters.

DOGE, border security, tax cuts on tips and social security, election security, ending the trans madness in public schools and universities, purging our military of radical liberals generals….

Just off the top of my head.

I do understand you will never give him credit for anything, but he has done a lot of good for this country

Peace to you

Sessions didn't attempt to destroy Trump. He served on Trump's campaign committee as his national security advisor. I'll say this again, Trump fired him because he would participate in the investigation because he could not, as he was a witness against the Dems.

I'm well aware that he won, but apparently you're not aware of how the polls show the majority now do not approve of him. His favorability numbers have tanked. The majority disapprove of his handling of the economy and Iran. Trump knows this and that's why he's saying he will give $5000 to every adult only IF the Republicans have the majority after the election.

DOGE, border security, tax cuts on tips and social security, election security, ending the trans madness in public schools and universities, purging our military of radical liberals generals….
The amount of money DOGE claimed to save the US has been proven to have been grossly overexaggerated by the US Government Accounting Office. His tax cuts aren't permanent. The issues with Social Security and transgenders have not been resolved as you claim. The military was not purged of liberal generals. It was purged of generals who would not agree with everything Trump was doing.

This country is grossly divided and Trump has a lot to do with that.

Here in Georgia, Mike Collins who has been endorsed by Trump is trailing John Ossoff by 8 points in the poll. Meanwhile, Rick Jackson, the Republican candidate for governor leads his Democratic opponent. Republican candidates in closely contested congressional races are distancing themselves from Trump.

People are waking up realizing Trump lies all the time. He believes the economy is great. It's not. The bottom line is this—politicians on both sides of the aisle cannot be trusted. I put no trust in them at all. They only say things to tickle our ears. God on the other hand is who I put all my trust in.

Not disputing the need to recuse. I question his choice to appoint Muller, a known partisan.

I know polls go up and down and can be manipulated to get the result the pollster wants.

Are you unaware that happens?

Wow I hadn’t of politicians promising to give away things if they win.

Wrong!! Wrong!!! It’s the revolting radical liberals generals that undermined his authority and refused to follow orders .

Disagree with POTUS? The honorable thing to do is resign. The dishonorable thing is to undermine his authority and refuse to follow orders… then be fired.

The country is divided because the radical libs must have us divided to win. They cannot run on what they believe… kill as many babies as possible, teach kindergarteners to be trans, force girls to share toilets and locker rooms with boys, mutilate pre teen boys and girls by cutting off body parts, have the government control o er every aspect of your life, communism, socialism, psi the Supreme Court with liberal justices, open the borders and give citizenship to 30 million illegals…

Once again, the Trump haters have been saying the same thing for ten years… and he just keeps on winning and winning and winning… making America Great Again!!

I thank God for putting Trump in charge

Peace to you

Many former Trump supporters no longer support him . Especially younger people. These people formerly supported him. I guess they found out he was just another Joe Biden.

Isn’t this OP about revolting generals refusing to follow orders? Read the article to find their names

Peace to you
What article? The OP is a YouTube video by some guy who has no credibility. He's just some guy spinning news articles with his point of view. Again, I'll ask what generals were fired because they refused to obey any order Trump gave.

The following generals were removed without any explanation given to the public:

    • Gen. Randy George: Army Chief of Staff (removed in April 2026 amidst reports of friction over promotion lists and alignment)
    • Gen. Charles Q. Brown Jr.: Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (fired in February 2025)
    • Adm. Lisa Franchetti: Chief of Naval Operations (fired in February 2025)
    • Gen. James Mingus: Army Vice Chief of Staff (forced out in late 2025)
    • Lt. Gen. Jeffrey Kruse: Head of the Defense Intelligence Agency (fired in August 2025)
    • Gen. David Hodne: Head of the Army's Transformation and Training Command (removed in April 2026 alongside Gen. George)
    • Maj. Gen. William Green: Army Chief of Chaplains (removed in April 2026)

The four top tier generals were appointed in their positions by Biden. I suspect that's the real reason they were removed by Trump.

That is what the Title of the thread suggests, but the clip was long on the opinion of the commentators - Trump is incompetent and his war plan is incompetent.

Of course the military actions on Iran are "draining" our stockpile. But I did not hear any suggestion we are not taking action to replenish.

And of course the Pentagon was bloated with "dead wood" that actually hindered military responsiveness. No evidence was put forth that the firings and resignations has detracted from our military strength.

Basically it was just another left wing diatribe on Mr. Trump.
