What is the source for your statement “he hates to be advised to do something other than what he wants to”?…..
Trump had a high turnover rate of staff and cabinet members during his first administration. He hates to be advised to do something other than he wants to.
He fired people that refused to carry out his policies. He gets to make the decisions. All POTUS’s do. Military leaders can disagree and advise otherwise, but when POTUS makes the decision, it must be carried out. If they thinks it’s wrong, resign. Don’t disobey, don’t undermine his authority. If he had personnel who disagreed with him, he canned them.
Harry Truman fired MacAuthor (one of the most popular generals of WW2) because he refused to carry out his policy and undermined his authority.
DT has surrounded himself with like minded people. All POTUS do that for cabinet picks. This term he has surrounded himself with butt kissers.
Source for the statement? They have purged the pentagon of radical leftists that have implemented harmful policies like the cross dressing nightmare and undermine policies that support good order and morale. He's had fired generals because they disagreed with him.
Right, he gets to set the policy. If they disagree and won’t implement the policy, resign or be fired. We've all seen Trump go from praising someone and then calling them the worst person in that position because they actually doing the right thing, but not what Trump wanted.
The dems do the same and want to add 10 radical leftists to the court to pack it as liberal forever.Look at all the executive orders Trump has written and that have been overturned by the federal courts to include the SCOTUS. Have you ever noticed what is usually the first thing he says when overruled by the SCOTUS? "They got it wrong." Trust me, if he could fire any of them and replace them with someone who would go along with everything he does, he would.
Thank you and your family for your service.I used to consider myself a Republican. I left the party and now consider myself a constitutional conservative. My father, my son, and myself made the Army a career to defend this nation and the Constitution. It pains me to see politicians on both sides of the aisle who ignore it. But what pains me more is when I see Christians who put politics above God.
No doubt there is very little difference between Dems and many Repubs. I call them the republicrats because they have very little real differences.
DT is hated by all the Washington establishment of both parties. That is why both parties attempted to destroy him in his first term.
The repubs in the 2nd term have become more subtle, knowing he has the support of the majority of Americans and he can end their careers.
He is shaking up the way things are done for the better, despite all his shortcomings.
Peace to you
