Is Jesus not the best representation and revelation of the nature of God? Did he act "self-centered" in the way that we think of people who are "self-centered?" Of course not. So, clearly, in that sense, God is NOT self-centered. Now, if you mean by this term that God is self-sufficient, transcendent and has created, loved and redeemed people to the praise of his Glory, fine, but use a better term. Preferably not one with a connotation of a prideful, self absorbed, glory hog that thinks of no one but themselves....that certainly wasn't Jesus' MO and thus could not be Gods.

Gods

Genesis 1:26
Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

Genesis 3:22
And the LORD God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.”

John 10:30
I and the Father are one.”

The triune God is one in three distinct persons. God not Gods.

I believe Skan accidently left out the apostrophe, he meant to write God's (possessive case), not Gods (plural).
