Pentecostal vs Charismatic

They twist that, and say God wants you rich, and to get rich, you have to sow your seed in the kingdom. Sadly, they leave it it’s their kingdom, not God’s, they’re sowing into. Look at their mansions, suits, vehicles, private jets, &c. True story: I used to work with a lady who’s big into this. A couple years ago or so, she messaged me on FB wanting to know if they were hiring, as she needed to make extra money. I really wanted to ask her why she needed another job to make money when she had been sowing seed for years, but I didn’t. So if they name it claim it, blab it grab it, they can be rich. It’s a ponzi scheme.
That “seed money” scam really annoys me. Just looking at the freaks who preach that mammonist simony ought to be enough to repulse people, they act like idiots.

The pastors live in mansions while preaching about a homeless guy named Jesus. Our Savior walked on foot, they fly in jets.

That’s what I was referring to in the other post you quoted me. We need to look to the word for all our needs. It’s where our faith comes from.

Here is a lady in our Pentecostal Holiness church speaking in tongues.

I am sorry but this sounds like made up gibberish, not any kind of language. And I hear the pastor or someone laughing at her!

I used to speak in tongues for many years, but I gave it up because it seemed fake. I think the gift of tongues can exist, but I have never heard anything that sounded authentic in any churches. People just imitate what they hear others do. So it all sounds pretty much the same.

I came into a Pentecostal Holiness church in which I knew within my heart that I experienced the wonderful presence of the Holy Spirit. And it was like wow! I never had a feeling like that in all my days! But as my generation came up it was obvious that it was becoming something else. Our ministers have become more educated than they ever were but it is obvious that something very important is missing.

When we had a plating department in our facility I worked myself up to Lab Technician and worked under a chemist. This chemist was very smart, professional, decent, and very good at math. When he laid out equations he did so in very neat handwriting and there would be much activity as he turned the results of an analysis into an addition. I would take his calculations and put them in the form of visual basic functions and sub procedures.

Of all the years I worked with this man I had one opportunity to witness to him. I made my presentation while he was analyzing adhesion under a microscope in which you could hear the sounds... Scratch, scratch, scratch! Scratch scratch, scratch! After my presentation he just continued to look under the microscope as if he ignored everything I said so I just continued in my work. Then... The scratch scratch, scratching stopped! And he speaks!

"You know what I think it is?" He says while continuing to look under the microscope... "I think it is arrogance!"

And then, without taking his eyes off the microscope, he continues his work... Scratch, scratch, scratch! Scratch scratch, scratch! I did not reply but went about my work. I fear that much of what goes on under the guise of Christianity is more ego than anything else!
