Jeeze… I wonder why ‘Shifty’ Shif is on the enemy list?

Trump speaks the language the whole world understands--- MONEY. He can put you in it, or he can take you out of it with his deals. He has that power as the POTUS.

    Exact moment you were saved???

Only a Calvinist/Sovereign Grace could answer that question with that statement. This is declaring to be saved before birth, and is not found in Scripture. I was saved at 15 years old in a Sunday night service when I repented of my sins believing in what Christ did for me. Before that I was...

    Question for Baptists

No, not deflecting, I've heard it to many times to think it doesn't exist. Of course you will defend it, you have to. but don't tell me, Walter, it doesn't exist.

    Question for Baptists

I have nothing to say to a priest, I have a pastor for anything I need to know.

    Question for Baptists

That may be true, I don't doubt it. I would have to drive to Charlotte, about 18 miles to talk to a priest, awful traffic. I don't think that's on my list.

    Question for Baptists

I've heard the same story from other reformed Catholics. I don't know, it could be hocum in some cases. But I do know the Catholics are not taught the Scripture in the detail of the Protestant's

    According to Faith

Another Gentile prepared beforehand for the salvation of the Lord. According to His foreknowledge He knew this Gentile would believe and made all the preparations. Salvation is all of the Lord!

    Question for Baptists

Good, I'm glad to hear it. We've been through it lately and I like to give it a rest from time to time. There will be another day!

    That's My Goal

2 Timothy 4:6-8 "For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that...

    Question for Baptists

Mate, I don't want to say what's on my mind. I'd rather we try and get along despite our differences. I'm pretty sure if we met and the Protestant/ Catholic thing didn't exist, we would be somewhere fishing telling large tales. But that's not the way it is, one would end up drowning the other/...

    According to Faith

I believe the #1 desire of Paul was to bring salvation to all he could reach, the reason he kept pushing forward to the end. Once he brought that salvation he kept in contact preaching sound doctrine to guide the born-again in Grace while following Christ. The reason why he told the...

    Two Righteousnesses

How can it be that Mr. Philpot believes that only a certain number have access to what he has so eloquently spoken.?

    The Comforter

If you didn't know Mr. Philpot was a 5 point Calvinist, you wouldn't know of his misguided view of sovereign grace he mentions here.

    Question for Baptists

The Pope did it, he doesn't want you to see such things. The Catholics say the Pope knows everything, there's your proof!

    Question for Baptists

LOL, none of us can argue with that! You have a very good point. It wouldn't be that way if there wasn't that fella called the Devil, Satan. There was a time when the people in the 1st century were "in one accord." Those days are gone for now, but not forever. Christ will one day bring back...

    According to Faith

It seems to me that every time Paul used the word "faith" or a derivative of it "believe, believed, believes, etc" he is speaking directly of the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. Mainly what Christ did for us through the Cross.

    Question for Baptists

I had no problems, it's there. This guy worked for the priests all over the world for 35 years. He said every priest he worked for told him not to read the Bible, it's to confusing, if he had any questions to ask him.
